Dr. Sapp is the best - he has treated me for age related macular degeneration for more than ten years and I couldn't be more pleased with his professionalism, knowledge, and ability to treat my condition. Thank you Dr. Sapp for saving my vision.

Dr. Sapp is a kind man that saved my husband's vision. We had a bad experience with another retina doctor in Birmingham and unfortunately lost vision. Dr. Sapp has restored my husband's vision and has been the answer to our prayers!

We have been taking our mother to Dr. Sap for over five years. She is currently 93 years old and she absolutely loves him. She tells him he makes her feel like a real person, instead of an old person that he doesn't care about. I would highly recommend Dr. Sap to anyone. His expertise in eye care has saved my mother's eye sight. He is a wonderful and caring doctor.

Dr. Sapp is very thorough and concerned with giving me the best care for my eye disease. He always goes above and beyond making sure I understand what he is doing and what my options are in the future. Dr. Sapp and his staff are very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend him to my family and others as well.

I found Dr. Sapp to be patronizing and it was impossible to communicate my concerns to him; he was only concerned with his own agenda. Additionally, he was not truthful to me in person or to my referring doctor in writing about his willingness to perform my surgery; after two encounters (one in person, one on the phone), I realized there was no way I could work with him and found another surgeon in the area with whom I was very pleased. I would not have given any stars, but had to in order to write a review. I have never written a negative review of a physician before; but the potential is there for this physician to be dismissive and quite unpleasant.

Dr. Sapp has an excellent bed side manner and personality. Explained my mothers condition to her and all of her options in terms that she could understand. Would highly recommend him to others.
