Dr. Matthew E Giangrante, MD

Dr G has been my physician for 15 years and is always friendly, accessible, well informed and professional. He has led me to much improved health!

I have been seeing Dr. G for over 10 years. He has excellent bedside manner and is genuinely concerned for his patients. His brain works fast so he works fast; which to some can seem like he is trying to hurry you along. However, he has always taken the time to answer all my questions and help me understand all the medical language.

Dr. Giangrante and the staff at the Cranford office were exceptional. The follow up, communication, professionalism and bedside manner of Dr. Giangrante and his team was outstanding and unlike any prime care team I have ever had before. My entire experience went above my expectations. In my opinion, Vanguard Medical Group is a five star primary care facility.

This group is very unprofessional. I made an appointment for Dr. Giagrante using Zocdoc only for it be canceled weeks later without any explanation. Get off zocdoc if you don't use it! I called in and could never get an answer from new patients extension after trying 6 times. I then made an appointment after using the existing patients extension. When I went in for my bloodwork last week, they said my appointment was canceled. I didn't understand why, but they offered one for the day before so I went with it. I confirmed the appointment in person, over the phone when they called and online in their portal. I showed up and they said they see my appointment as canceled. That's 3 appointments that they have now canceled and I have seen the Dr 0 times.

One word to sum it all up. Terrible. He is quick and ignorant. Talks over you and never listens. He makes fun on your opinions and overall go somewhere else.

Dr. G. thoroughly analyzed my symptoms and explained each one to me. He discussed the use of medications, pro-active measures I could take that did not require medication, and made me feel very well taken care of as I left his office. The office staff is attentive and the nurse was very compassionate.

misdiagnosed me, didn't refer me to a specialist, said that I'm young and healthy and sent me home. I had to look for another doctor, it took me a while but I found one and she actually did test to find out what is wrong! I guess he can help you when you have a cold, bottom line!
