Dr. Matthew Scott Wilson, MD

Dr. Wilson delivered my daughter in December. I never felt like he was in a rush to see other patients, always answered my questions, very nice, made you feel comfortable, and he's patient. Had to be induced early he knew I was nervous but I felt very calm once he would co scantly explain what was going on. I had a very easy and smooth delivery thanks to him. Staff is awesome as well. I couldn't have asked for a better Dr. I also had a IUG inserted and he was patient with me knowing I was nervous.

Dr. Wilson is a consummate professional who truly cares for his patients. He intervened on behalf of my wife when she was experiencing a difficult clinical situation. Although he was not her primary OBGYN, he took ownership of her case when she was admitted to the hospital during a weekend stay while many other clinicians were hesitant to do so. His decisive action, breadth/depth of knowledge, and excellent analysis prevented a life threatening situation. My sincere thanks to Dr. Wilson for his commitment to excellence and patient service.

â?? I absolutely LOVE LOVE Dr.Wilson, I could not have had a better doctor to deliver my baby. I had ups and downs through my pregnancy and also gestational diabetes which I was very emotional about and he was so understanding,kind and sweet when I was having a hard time. He always made sure all my questions were answered and was so professional. He had personally called me when I got to the hospital to be induced to make sure everything was going good. He was there for me through the whole delivery and made it alot more comfortable. He's truly the best doctor. I refer everyone I know to see him. I will definitely be a patient of his for life!!! His staff is also AMAZING they are so sweet and kind, his nurse will always return my calls. Loved my whole experience with them. :) :)

Dr Wilson seems to know everything. He takes the time to explain to me what's going on in my body and in my health, and helps me be empowered to make good decisions. He even called me at my home on his day off to discuss test results. I will never change doctors again.

Dr. Wilson was extremely understanding and accommodating. I had a lot of questions and he was very willing to answer them in a very professional, non-judgmental manner. I was nervous to see a new doctor but after the appointment I felt so much better. I genuinely felt that he cared about my concerns; he didn't mind when I had to have him come back in the room and answer even more questions. He was patient, professional and exceptional. Thank you for being awesome!

This doctor is awful. He's pompous and indifferent. He treated me like I was an idiot during my entire pregnancy, just because I had different views than him. He's by the book, I'm all about keeping it natural. When I went into labor, it took him 45 minutes to show up at the hospital he lived 5 minutes away from (I was 9 cm when I got there). Then, while I was waiting for my water to break, he left the hospital and went home to get ready for church. He didn't show up for another 50 minutes AFTER I told them to break my water. He was in a huge hurry. So much so, that he pulled out my placenta, rather than waiting for me to have a contraction so that it detaches from the uterine wall. This is a vital step since forcing the placenta from the uterine wall can cause mass bleeding, and hemorrhaging, which is exactly what happened. Luckily, I didn't hemorrhage, but I lost so much blood that I passed out.

Dr. Wilson is great and so is his staff. Thorough, friendly, professional, explains things and listens well to questions, delivers his own patients, and respected all my labor and delivery requests, even advocating and supporting them.

Dr. Wilson and his staff are truly the best! I wouldn't ever go anywhere else.

I was very scared about getting an IUD but was interested in one. The first doctor I went to was not sympathetic to my worries and treated me like I was being a baby. When I switched to Dr. Wilson, he was completely willing to do whatever I needed to make me feel more comfortable with the procedure. He gave me a shot in my hip and cervix so that I wouldn't feel as much and it really helped. He also offered medicine to help with my anxiety and when I was a little lightheaded after the procedure he gave me some juice and crackers. He even made a slideshow about all of the different birth control options that were out there for me. My follow up appointment took about 5 minutes. Really glad I got my IUD and really glad I went to Dr. Wilson!

Dr. Wilson is amazing! He placed my second IUD. The first IUD (done in Alabama) was so painful when placed and then I cramped all day long. Dr Wilson took the time to give me a shot in my hip and in my cervix (which sounds awful, but was totally painless). I had no pain on insertion or after all day long. I thought I was going to be in bed all day with cramps, but I never got the first one because he knew what he was doing. He was friendly and helpful,, always letting me know that next step in the process. He is also friendly with his staff. I work in healthcare and how a doctor treats his staff is very important to me.
