Dr. Vicinanzo is a wonderful physician. He has performed eye surgery on my young son 3 different times over a 2 year period. Each time he has done an excellent job. He knows exactly what he is doing. He will follow up with you to make sure things are going according to the plan. I highly recommend him to anyone having eye issues.

I was referred to Dr. Vic at my yearly eye check due to saggy upper eyelids. I'm just a few months out from his surgery, and wow I cannot believe the difference. The surgery healed well, and I see and feel so much better. No longer do friends and co-workers ask why I look so tired! Thank you so much Dr. Vic!

SCREWED UP one eye and BUTCHERED the other !

Dr Vic is an excellent physician. He has performed 5 surgeries on me to include orbital decompression on both eyes due to Graves Disease. Outstanding at explaining it all and answering questions! Excellent bedside manner, personable and funny. Completely trust him and his judgment. Would highly recommend!

I got a bad Bells Palsy for Christmas in 2018 that shut my left eye. DR Viv took one look knew what it was and what he had to do. I got used to his sense of humor that day. He did an excellent Brow lift on me and I was able to see out of my left eye again. Tiny little stitches that healed wonderfully but that was not the amazing part. When I drove down from Hampton Cove, Al. to Birmingham a 2 hour drive, waited to see Dr. Vic. only to be sent right back home because he had emergency surgery to perform, at first I was angry because of the inconvenience. Then I thought wouldn't I want him to do the same if it were me that needed his emergency help. Now for the big part. This wonderfully intelligent, gifted man called me a couple days later to explain and to talk about my eye care. Wow that is more than Big in my book. Not sure there is a high enough Pedi stool I can place you on Dr. Vic. Thank You

I was told during my yearly eye exam I needed help for my eye lids and eyebrows. They were sagging BAD. Dr. Vicinanzo repaired both my eye lids and eyebrows. His nurses and staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I found him very kind and pleasant. But he professionally discussed what I needed with a lot of self confidence. He preformed my surgery at the UAB eye hospital. The nurses at UAB were awesome, especially the doctor of anesthesiology. I would like to thank her. It is unreal the better vision I have. My neighbor says I look 10 years younger. Another neighbor says I look as if I have open my eyes and woke up.. I am totally pleased and happy I found Dr. Vicinanzo. If I had to do it again, I would choose him. He has just opened a satellite office in Huntsville on the Crestwood Hospital campus. Proud my follow up visits are local.

Was seen at UAB Eye Foubdatiin ER for dacrocystitis - referred to Dr Vic. He is an outstanding doctor, very confident but also kind. Takes charge. He operated on me and I’m so thankful.
