Dr. Matthew Brent Zook, MD

Dr Zook is the best! When I’m panicking about a skin issue, he is very understanding and calming. I always leave his office feeling better than when I entered. He also makes you feel pretty; we ladies need that! What a role model for all healthcare practitioners.

I have paid extra to see a dermatologist as opposed to my regular doctor. I have seen his nurse practitioner who did not know anything. She gave me a cream and told me not to use alcohol even though I told her alcohol was helping. I used the cream for 1 month and suffered from discomfort and pain. Finally, I saw my regular primary care doctor who made the correct diagnosis. I am much better after a few days of treatment. Please save your money and go to your primary care. At least you will see a doctor this way. These guys are so busy that do not have time to see you and you will end up seeing a midlevel for something that needs a higher level of care. I wish people will stop going to these specialists while they are this busy and will let an NP take care of issues. Their aesthetic procedures are also overpriced and useless.

This guy was terrible. Did not even listen to what I was saying. Wasted my time and a hundred bucks on a biopsy I did not need.

I have seen several dermatologists in this area the man has the best knowledge and is......wait for It........CARING!!!!!!! The most important attribute of all,at least in my book......and that goes for all drs. which in my experience with other dr.s seems to be quite hard to find.....he loves his work and it shows!!!!! He is my angel, I would highly recommend him,we are lucky to have this man!!!

Dr. Zook took all of four minutes for the entire appointment to look at a skin growth, only to misdiagnose it entirely. His assisting nurse's hands and fingernails were visibly dirty. Never again!

I had Mohs surgery about a week and a half ago, when I went in the office to start the procedure, I had high hopes as the cancer had been on my forehead for at least 8 years, that's right I could never afford to have it looked at til now because now I have Medicare. I had a free screening about a year ago at a very respected hospital where they had told me they were pretty sure it was either basal cell or squamous cancer, although I had already suspected this after internet research, my cancer resembled many photos I had seen.....so now I have a 10cm wound that covers almost all of my forehead, I have never seen pics even slightly close to the size of the one I now have...the Dr. only went 2 layers down and then had to stop due to the amount of cancer (and also the size of my wound). I now have a HUGE open sore on my head, I am due tomorrow for an office visit to change the dressing and discuss my options which are radiation, or a pill or more cutting.....I am wondering if I should… have ever even started this since Basal Cell almost never causes death, I REALLY DOUBT if I would have just left it as it was if it would EVER have turned into the nightmare it is now HELP

I recently had a procedure done by Dr. Zook and if I ever have any other dermatological need I'll be sure to return. He explained the procedure and answered any questions I had. He makes you feel comfortable anf genuinely wants to help you. I'm so glad I found Dr. Zook!

Dr. Zook was professional, patient, kind, professional and gave you a sense of comfort when he assisted you. I came in for a personal matter, and he was so understanding. He answered about 50 questions that I had as well. I would highly recommend him to someone needing a great dermatologist! :)

Dr. Zook was caring and very professional in his demeanor and with his procedures.

Dr. Zook has an excellent bedside manner. He is jovial and makes the patient feel at ease right away. You can also sense that he has a great working relationship with his staff. He takes the time to explain things to the patient and to make sure they comprehend what is going on.
