Dr. Maziar Bidar, MD

Dr Bidar Comes off as a very caring surgeon. I had lower bleth Done by him and I am left looking deformed. I have left pictures on other sites. He refused to acknowledge it, and then moved away. The incoming doctor that replaced him noticed it right away and said I would need corrective surgery but since it’s not Dr. Bidar, it’s going to cost me more than the original surgery. I went to Bidar multiple times with concerns and he brushed it off. After my surgery, one eyeball does not align with the other and the lower lid on my right eye sags dramatically. It is always irritated and affects my day-to-day life. And on top of that, the bags are still there if not worse. He doesn’t care. He has a terrible reputation with many cosmetic doctors and aestheticians in this area. I’ve been to many now after this, trying to come up with a solution to fix my eyes that won’t cost me thousands of dollars again. I regret having this surgery with him every single day. It has affected my social life and… my eyesight a ton.. My self-esteem has plummeted due to this. Research this doctor further before having this surgery. And don’t go for the laser resurfacing He tries to sell you unless you do your whole face. It’s completely different skin where he does it than your face after and it looks bizarre. Thats just a tip, but that is the lowest of my concerns at the moment. My eyesight is number one. I see stacked double vision now. I have an upcoming appointment to see what is causing the misalignment in my eyes. They think it is injury related from surgery. I do not see how it couldn’t be since it started right after surgery. It had problems from day one. I hope this deters anyone from using this doctor. At least please research first. There are many many better options. My friend canceled their surgery with him due to my outcome and found an amazing doctor elsewhere. If this review saves one person from dealing what I have been dealing with for about a year now, it’s worth it.

Do not use this surgeon! The one star is for the staff. I went in for lower eye bags to be removed. I look so so much worse now almost a year later. My eyes are misshapen, one eyeball points up. One eye is constantly irritated and the eye bags are worse than before surgery. He dismissed every concern I had at every post op, then left the practice announced. The new doctor in the practice noticed every concern and was unhappy with the results, along with every other Dr and esthetician I have seen since. It is very noticeable. I will have to pay more than the surgery itself to have all of this fixed. He does not care about you after surgery. I left the surgery bleeding down my face, and his response was “you’re fine”. Meanwhile the nurses were horrified. That’s when I knew this might not go well. And I was definitely right. I have left pictures on other review sites. I strongly urge people to use a different surgeon.

May 05, 2021 Did not preform what was supposed to have been done I went in for a blepharoplasty surgery and ended up with a compromise procedure. Apparently he didn’t remove tissue, he simply repositioned it and laser treated the surface, at best temporary results. After paying $6000.00 + I came out with results that Dr Bidar should have been ashamed of. My bags remain. During my last visit he seemingly became irritated, told me “ you look younger” and simply walked out of the room! I’ve been told that I should consider other actions.

This was an unbelievable experience. I was Referred to Dr.Bidar for a lacral gland prolapse. He appears very frustrated and at one point shoved my paperwork in my hands. When asked his problem he said he was upset that I had not received contrast with my MRI. I reminded him I had sever anxiety about needles and he had no communicated this prior to me arriving at the MRI appointment. I then asked to see the results and he stated “I tossed them“. I was appalled. He proceeded to tell me that he does not prefer work on lacramal glands as his preference is plastic surgery. After that he started to show me the pictures he took of my face that I had thought were of my lacramal gland prolapse.... he pointed out all the work he could do to improve my “under eye bags” and the “fat” around my eyes. Need less to say I was In need of a resolution for the prolapse lacramal gland hanging under my eye lid. When addressing this, he only wrote down a name and said here’s my competetor go see him.… Horrible experience, I left In tears.
