Dr. Meghan Anne Lynch, MD

Dr. Lynch is a breath of fresh air after years of fighting to be heard by other doctors. She is thorough AND caring. Office staff is kind AND very responsive.

I used to say, "I'd rather go to the dentist weekly if that meant I never had to go to the GYN." I've had 4 other GYN's in my life; due to me moving, one dying, one retired. This was my first time seeing a female GYN. I was uncomfortable with that at first, but several people recommended her. She made me feel very comfortable, & I hardly felt a thing. I no longer despise going to the GYN.

Dr. Lynch is very kind and caring, and she always makes sure that everything I want to talk about or any questions I may have are addressed during each visit. I never feel rushed! She is a wonderful doctor! All of the staff are super nice and helpful as well.

I am stunned by the way I was treated by Dr. Lynch! I've seen her three times in two years and this past visit was inexcusable! Not only was she nearly an HOUR late for my appointment, but she made it very clear in cleverly spoken comments that she was not pleased that I had a list of things I needed to discuss with her. In fact she made me feel like a five-year-old child who had waited too long to come to see the doctor and that she didn't have time to address my concerns. This was my yearly visit where I'm entitled to ask questions, voice my concerns, and receive thorough responses. I certainly did not receive thorough responses! Instead I heard comments like, "You should come more often if you have that many questions that need to be addressed." (For the recordâ?¦ I asked all of my questions in under five minutes. I did not however get satisfactory answers.) She did not smile at me once, she did not put me at ease at all, she indicated that I will probably have abnormal Pap smear… results and said it in a very agitated way- as if to say, " Well you dummy, you should've come here sooner. Now you're probably going to have irregular results!" ( I waited two years instead of one for my visit.) Way to terrify a patient Dr. Lynch! Let's just leave them riddled with anxiety that something is wrong with their body. Pardon me that, as I tried to explain to her, I've been dealing with vast numbers of health problems and had to see other specialists over the past two years and that I'm overwhelmed by the chronic pain I'm in! She had no sympathy and showed no kindness whatsoever! I felt very anxious and unsettled and hurried and therefore I spoke very, very quickly to get my questions out. Again â?? she was the one running an hour late and I could feel that pressure. So she accused me of having ADD! Excuse me?!! When I shared that I actually suffer from PTSD and I explained the reasons for it, she jotted it down and very flatly and rudely said, "Well you need to go to a counselor". Gee- thank you Dr. Lynch for suggesting that. I never would've thought of that on my own! I only have a Masters Degree in Education and I'm a highly intelligent woman! But really- thanks for being so condescending and making me feel like a moronic idiot! Oh and a special thank you for your deep compassion for the amount of physical pain I told you I'm in due to other health problems. Thanks for rushing out of the room without answering any of my questions or getting to the root causes of why I'm having vaginal pain! And by the way â?? you never did the breast exam that's pretty much a standard part of every yearly OB/GYN visit!! Unbelievable! I have never been treated so rudely by a doctor in all of my life â?? and let me assure you that I have seen many many doctors! I seriously do not know what is wrong with Dr. Lynch. She put on a great show for the first visit and acted like a compassionate, caring, interested doctor. This visit told the true story and the only reason I would ever go back is to confront her awful behavior and to demand answers for why I was treated like this!!!

I am not usually someone who writes a review, but I have to say that I LOVE this doctor and her staff! The check in person is so friendly and pleasant, and the nurse who takes your history was also very nice and a good listener. I showed up on time and they took me right away, even though there were people in the waiting room, which tells me that they run that office like clockwork. Dr. Lynch took a lot of time to understand my family history, my own health history, and took the time to explain the reasons behind my symptoms, even to the point of drawing a picture of my internal organs for me. Getting the appointment was reasonably easy - you'll never be able to get a specialist appointment the same week you are calling, but I think the 4-6 weeks it took me to get one is the norm. Overall, I will definitely recommend her and her staff to all my friends!

Dr. Lynch was great but her office staff was NOT!! I waited 6 weeks to get an appointment as a new patient. My appointment time was 1130 and I was not brought back to the see Dr. Lynch until 1215. Her assistant was informal and rushed though my intake process. I did not feel very welcomed by her staff and they lacked customer service skills (which sadly seems to be the theme every where). I really expected much more!

dr. requires that you sign a form saying that you billed twice, and that you are responsible for both the facility/clinic charge & the charge from the doctor. Staff says that it doesn't apply to office visit, and don't worry about it, but I still need to sign the form saying that there are two charges and that I am responsible for both. Staff attitude is just sign the form, it doesn't matter what the form says. When I tried to clarify with the office manager,and to ask for the form to be corrected to reflect what I was verbally being told, I never received a call back.
