Dr. Megumi Maguchi Aldrete, MD

I love Dr. Maguchi and her staff. Great office, super efficient. One of the best if not the best doctor in town. We can't thank you enough for caring

I have been tossed around the health care system, between heart complications and nobody able to tell me what is wrong with me, just more pills everywhere I went. Dr. Maguchi sat down and talked to me and fixed my meds, and explained to me what was going on. I finally feel I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and get better. She is extremely busy, but always makes you feel you are the only person on earth for her. I don't have enough words to describe the caliber of the doctor. Thank you for all you do.

During the pandemic I have repeatedly called Dr. Maguchi's office to get help in getting some medical equipment that requires a physician's prescription and notes. Not once were any of the calls returned or the request followed up. None the less, I assumed that it would get done in due time. However, when a needed prescription refill was not handled after the pharmacy contacted her office, I am left to assume that she is not very concerned about the well-being of her patients. During this trying time one would think that a doctor who has geriatric patients would be very concerned about addressing their needs. It appears we will need to find a different doctor to care for us.

After our Primary Care Physician retired, we were forced to find a new PCP and were encouraged that my wife and I found someone who specialized in our age group. Over a six month period there appears to be a breakdown in communications because my wife scheduled and showed up on-time to an appointment for a B-12 Injection [twice]; but the individual who usually gave her the injectionsl did not. Further, we found by accident that 4 appointments had been made in our names that we didn't know about. We made several calls to the office to try to schedule [because of the Covid 19 Pandemic] a virtual face-time appointment to review our Labs, but no one returned our calls. We assumed because of the Pandemic, that the office was closed until further notice. We never didtget a returned call and just dropped trying to make contact until recently believing we would eventually receive a call. Bottom line, Dr. Meguchi appears to be a desirable physician to Monitor our health, but we really are… perplexed by her staff's inability to communicate. In the 6 months we have had Dr. Meguchi, I have only seen Dr. Meguchi twice! I for one am seriously considering another choice for a PCP!

Dr. Maguchi is a great doctor. Her coordination with her staff and other hospitals in Pensacola is just mint. Thank you doctor for being such an amazing human being and physician.

A breath of fresh air, to know that I have a doctor that is so kind, and knowledgeable, a rare combination in the healthcare. A young doctor that has such a heart for her patients. Thank you so much Dr. Maguchi for all you do.

Besides having to almost and hour for a scheduled appointment and when you do see Her it is no more than a 5 min. consult. My family has tried numerous time to contact Her about medical issues with my 95 year old Mother, with no response . My best advice is find a Dr. who cares.

I am sure like me there are many others who feel totally disappointed in today's healthcare system. I wanted to share here a rare finding a doctor with incredible intelligence and true compassion for her patients. Very kind human being that will sit at eye level with her patients, and not rush a visit, explaining everything and creating goals, that actually work. I am better. I feel better. I can live now.

This doctor saved my life. I was bouncing back and forth from hospitals, and doctors to find myself every time worse and worse. When I met Dr. Maguchi, I felt so overwhelmed with her kind bedside manners, I just sat there and cried the whole meeting. She went over my condition, her staff was equally kind and concerned, I felt cared for like never before. This doctor saved my life. Thank you so much.
