Dr. Melinda Margaret Munson, MD

This was my first visit seeing Dr. Munson, we talked, she asked specific questions and addressed my concerns. Will see her again as my chosen OB/GYN provider

Read the title, My wait in the empty waiting room and exam room where 100 x's longer than the actual 6 minute exam with the doctor. I don't even think the doctor looked at my medical history or had any interest in connecting the pieces for next steps except for saying "make another appointment to address any issues or concerns". Finding another doctor.

I've had many different doctors over the years, but Dr. Munson gets my highest rating by far. She is thorough, considerate, and caring. So happy to have found her four years ago.

She is a great Dr., her staff can use a little training

I had my first appoitment with Dr. Meinda Munson last year. The staff was ok. Appts fairly easy to get. Dr. Munson was friendly and gave me the appropriate referrals, but I never got information on my exam from last year. I have specific problems that I now I needed more guidance on because of previous issues. I am going to try her again this year as she came highly recommended from a friend who sees her.

I had almost exactly the same bad experience with Dr. Munson as Stacy. I will be seeing a different doctor.

I've been seeing Dr. Munson since the 90s and think she's terrific. She's polite, friendly and personable and has always given me good care. She referred me for a colonoscopy doctor who turned out to be great, scoped my esophagus at the same time and discovered two lesions. She listens when I ask question and offers good sound advice. I tried a doctor in DC near my workplace last year, and just got off the phone making another appointment with Dr. Munson. She's great.

I went to see Dr. Munson because she was in my provider book-I needed my yearly exam and I also wanted her to advise me about menopausal symptoms. The appointment process was easy, but once I got to her office her staff were zombies and very curt. I had to wait a LONG time to get in no one else was in the waiting room. A LONG TIME while in the exam room b/4 she came in. I had several concerns and wanted to be educated about the hormonal changes occurring in my body--WHAT? R U KIDDING-she was on a 6 minute time frame--hurry, hurry. SO from the time she came in to do the pap, very briefly answered 2 of my 4 questions she was OUTTA THERE!! I was appalled since this was my first visit with her, and she disregarded looking into family history, other imbalances in order to help me with the problems which were cumbersome. INSTEAD SHE INSISTED I GO SEE HER FRIENDS FOR SEVERAL TESTS... I never got a call from her or her staff regarding those results and what I should do next, what total… disregard for a patient. If you want a doc who just pokes you once for the pap and sends you on your way -- go to her --otherwise I would advise you to not go to DR. MELINDA MUNSON for anything.
