Dr. Melody Selena Franks, MD

Dr. Franks has the ability and desire to focus on what her patients say. Not an easy task in a world of blather and overload and administrative demands. Frankly, her younger staff could use a bit more empathy and bed side manner but they are probably under great pressure handling more and more patients, getting children off to school etc, etc. All in all, I think Dr. Franks does a great job.

Dr. Franks is a good doctor. I have been a patient of hers for years. However, my concerns are the office staff and nurses. They are rude, disrespectful, condesending, arrogant and careless. Don't dare to call and change an appointment...weeks in advance, it will take you a month to get a new one. Don't dare call with an major emergency need they will refer you to the ER. I love my Dr., but it easier to get a moment with the president than it is with her.

I have enjoyed having Dr. Franks as my family doctor for the past 8 years. She always has time to talk to me if I feel the need to talk and she always has a smile on her face. She has great knowledge of medicine and good choices of specialist to recomend you to see if needed. I hope she never leaves our area.

Dr. Franks is very strange. Make sure if you have a problem and she doesn't address it to get help elsewhere.
