Dr. Merrick Jay Bromberg, DO

Dr. Bromberg truly cares about his patients, as evidenced by his deep thinking, kindness and constant availability to his patients.

First (and last) time my wife and I saw him for a "routine" visit for both my 6 year old and 1 month old. Things seemed OK and he was friendly enough, expect that we noticed he abruptly left the room for 10 minutes when my 1 month old started crying (hmm...and he works at a baby clinic) - struck both my wife and I as odd. Anyway, all the checkups seemed OK and nothing more was said. The BAD: I found out that he had billed the insurance company for both a routine checkup AND A MEDICAL VISIT for my 1 month old. When I questioned Ad Park, on the 2 month visit, I guess he wrote that he spend an extended time with this visit (an extra 25 minutes). Hmm... Did he account for seeing 2 patients which he did charge routine visits for both by the way! Watch out for this guy. Without warning, or even the courtesy to let us know that this visit might warrant more charges (and by the way we were not there any longer that 2 individual visits would have been) he casually just walks out, and… then charges the insurance basically double. This is a insurance fraud waiting to happen.

I have been with Ad-Park Peds for over 17 years with my 3 children. I like all the doctors there, but Dr. Bromberg is the best Doctor I have ever known! He is unbelievably caring, patient and professional. My youngest son was born in 2000. My son had a chubby face and huge dimples! At his 6 month check up, after Dr. Bromberg gave him a clean bill of health, he picked up my son, hugged him, said what a cute little guy he was, and then gave him a kiss on his head!! Some people might not like that, but I absolutely think that showed what kind of man he is and how much he loves his job and working with kids!! I was SO over-joyed to see that!! I almost cried! He is a fantastic doctor!!

I've been with Dr. Bromberg's practice for several years (and have been very happy there) but saw him for the first time when my son was born in Aug 2009. We had some unusual eating issues that Dr. Bromberg worked through with us while keeping us from freaking out. He has a very quiet and reassuring manner yet you can see his concern and love for children. We also never feeled rushed when we ask him questions which is refreshing. He actually called us to check on our son from his home three evenings in a row to be sure that the baby - and my husband and I! - were doing well with our treatment plan. I have never experienced that in my life with ANY doc. Thank you Dr. Bromberg!

I find Dr. Bromberg to be one of the most intelligent and caring doctors I have ever known. I appreciate the way he listens to a concerned parent and interacts with my children. It is obvious that he loves children and likes what he does for a profession. If only all doctors were like Dr. Bromberg
