Dr. Cooney is professional, personable and caring. The technicians are also excellent. However the phone services have to be fixed. There is a new office manager and hopefully she can fix the somewhat scattered and disorganized phone system.

Outstanding physician. Orbital injections are not something anyone look s forward to but Dr. Cooney long ago put me at complete ease. After 8-9 years of using his service, I consider him more than a doctor; he is a trusted friend. The staff is also outstanding.

Dr. Cooney was very friendly and approachable. The gentleman who performed the eye exam and had to inject the dye was very kind and gentle. I was so afraid that he would not be able to find a vein , but he did it in one shot whereas other places have had to stick me numerous times to find a vein. He was so at ease and thus made the experience non threatening . Overall it was a very pleasant experience and they made me feel my eyes were in safe hands. I visited so many other places where they made me feel that either there was no hope for my condition or I was just a guinea pig. They were awesome!

Dr. Cooney is indeed the great guy that others have said (warm, educational, smart) but his office staff too are equally kind and courteous. They run a tight ship! I was wisked away by different people for different tests and all the while never even having a chance to warm my seat in the waiting area because before I knew it, my name was called. Amazing! So highly, highly efficient. And the office is beautiful, modern, calming and clean! I wish I could come back every week. Great service!

As a parent of two doctors, I am quite aware what it takes to become a good physician. Dr. Cooney is exceptional...smart, caring and having a wonderful bedside manner. I feel fortunate to have had him as my surgeon to repair a detached retina. We, as a family,are most appreciative for his care.

Dr. Cooney provides excellent care and treatment in a very competent and sensitive manner. He consistently explains your subject medical condition and treatment in a thorough and understandable manner. Dr. Cooney also personifies what is commonly referred to as a caring "bedside manner". I would recommend him for consultation, care and/or treatment within his chosen specialty without hesitation.
