Dr. Michael R Dibenedetto, MD

My husband had a shoulder repair done by Dr Dibeneedetto a year ago. It has been working great. We thought his bedside manner and staff were great. Would definitely recommend.

My husband was referred to Dr Dibenedetto by our primary physician after a fall and injury to his knee. Upon seeing Dr Dibenedetto he was told he did not have a knee injury that it was arthritis and WE DO NOT GIVE NARCOTICS for arthritis. First, it was not arthritis and second we were not there for narcotics. He then proceeded to give my husband a stainless steel knee replacement to hold so he would know what a knee replacement felt like because of arthritis. Again, no arthritis. Dr Dibenedetto has absolutely no bedside manner and is very arrogant. We do not recommend him for any orthopedic services.

I had 2 carpal tunnel surgeries and he was fantastic !

This Doctor was the most unprofessional doctor my family has ever seen. Do yourself a favor and don't make an appointment.

I was referred to him and he bent and poked my L5 to the point I almost couldn't drive myself home. I will never forget how painful the experience. Went to spine team in Spokane and had to wonder how he could miss the fracture as I could see it and I have no medical training. Of course by the time I got to them it had already started to heal improperly and they were no longer able to give me a brace to help it. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone.

Dr Debenedetto has performed 4 surgeries on me. 3 knee surgeries and a reconstruction of my elbow. Absolutely great surgeon and I love his bed side manner. I recently had a knee scope and flew from Boise, ID, where I live, to have him do my surgery. I trust him and the surgery center.

After 3 major surgeries, I can vouch for his expertise!

The staff is courteous but inept. Does not follow up on requests and multiple phone calls yields no further resolution. Dr. Dibenedetto appears bluff and friendly but that is only on the initial visit. He quickly becomes evasive when asked specific pertinent questions and arrogant in his attitude. I had an appointment (follow up) with extra time scheduled (for details not addressed as they should have been on first visit). He quickly became annoyed and tried to walk out of the room without answering. He demands you make the decision regarding surgery or PT but refuses giving information to make the best informed decision. No true surgical advice is offered or will be given by him. No explanations of the risks or benefits, pros or cons of surgery versus conservative therapy discussed. He just sits back looking smug. I paid for that time, it is my right as a patient to ask questions and have concerns addressed. I have never spent so long learning so little from a doctor… before.
