Dr. Michael Edward Herzog, MD

Dr. Herzog himself is a great doctor, I'm sure. Funny, friendly.... but the there is a total lack of communication with the rest of the office, leading to lots of confusion and unnecessary charges and procedures. Check your bills and advocate for yourself!!!

This doctor was rushed and extremely arrogant.It took me over an hour of waiting for him before his extremely rude nurse Eva came to see me. Once I went him he only talked about himself. He talked about how he was better than the other doctors in his office. I went to see him with what was a prostrate problem that he quickly misdiagnosed as a urinary infection. I found him so bad that I actually knew within five minutes of the meeting that I was going elsewhere. Do not recommend. He only cares about himself.

Staff cares only about insurance and even demands a payment upfront and credit card numbers. Had to cancel the surgery because one day prior I had a phone call to bring money with me. my insurance advised me not to go with that doctor, they advised me to wait for explanation of benefits letter with amount I am responsible for. Person named Ewa was very rude and unprofessional.

Dr. Herzog has the most amazing personality. He made me feel important and was easy to speak to. I highly recommend him. I give him a 10! He also explains everything very well.

My wife and I are trying to conceive and we were referred to Dr. Herzog by my wife's OB/GYN and I was disappointed with his clear attempt to schedule multiple and unnecessary office visits. After my first visit, Dr. Herzog ordered a number of routine tests and required a follow up office visit to go over the results. I requested to find out the results over the phone and they said it was against their policy which I later found to be considered fraudulent and excessive. Having waited for the doctor for nearly 45 minutes for our "follow up appointment" we spoke for 2 minutes and he explained that my test results were fine. He then requested that we schedule a follow up appointment in 3 months. I had no idea why he needed me to follow up in 3 months after my test results were fine. I realized that it was yet another attempt to schedule an unnecessary appointment and collect his $50 copay. I cancelled that appointment and would warn anyone of his office's policies.

appt was for 1;15 finally went into see the dr. at 2;00. wasn't even told the doctor wasn't there until asked the receptionist is he here?;;

Dr. Herzog is very professional, caring and great with his patients. I have been seeing him since I was 22 years old. He always allows time for questions and gives you all of your options.

I would not recommend this Dr to anyone. In the two appointments I had with him, my wait was over an hour and a half both times and not even a nurse came in to see me or tell how much longer the wait would be. His nurse practicioner barely speaks English and is extremely rude. She does a lot of trying to talk over you. I find it hard to believe that she is still employed and what does that say about Dr Herzog himself? This is by far the worse experience I have ever had with any Dr's office.

I was referred to this doctor because of a high Prostate PSA reading. A Postate biopsy was done in his office. It was very painful. After the procedure,the doctor had to be called back to the office because of bleeding of the rectum.I was sent to the hospital to stop the bleeding. I was given a Sigmoidoscopy. A hospital doctor installed clips to stop the bleeding. I was admitted to the hospital,catheter and IV were installed. I was released the next day.He is the most arrogant doctor I have ever been to.
