Dr. Michael J Robbins, DO

I am a patient of Dr Michael J. Robbins and have numerous medical problems. Dr. Robbins is very dedicated to his work and patients. He is caring, thoughtful and listens to all your medical concerns. He takes his time with you and you are not just a number with him but a patient with medical needs looking for help. He is friendly and makes you feel like you have known him your whole life. I highly recommend Dr. Robbins and I know he can help you too. Thank you Dr. Robbins for your dedication and for being my doctor.

After trying 4 or 5 different doctors in 3 different specialities, I did some informed research and found Dr. Robbins. He is, without a doubt, the absolute best and smartest doctor of any kind that I have encountered in my 58 years. Unfortunately there is no “cure” for my issues (yet) but Dr. Robbins has incredible knowledge and compassion. He doesn’t prescribe medications “willy-nilly”. Everything he does and every change he may need to make is deliberate and thoughtful. Nothing he does is by chance. There are times I may have initially disagreed with his approach, but he’s been right 100% correct each and every time. I have been a patient of his practice for about 10 years and have never regretted it. Thank you, Doc Robb.

Dr. Robbins is my 4th, AND LAST, pain management doctor I will ever need. I would always feel anxious before appointments with my other pain management doctor's, biting my nails awaiting for my turn in their torture chamber. Dr. Robbins is not like that at all. Being very personable, he explains your procedure thoroughly with a genuine kindness and care. More importantly, his injections are primarily pain free! He is truly unbelievable. Today he had completed my knee injection before I knew he even began.(I almost passed out when my Ortho surgeon gave me the same injection prior.) Between my spine and my knee, I owe my mobility to him. I am forever grateful for having found him.

For 2 yrs, walking, standing, sitting & normal daily activities produced burning, searing, pain & spasm in lower left lumbar area. Orthopedic & spine specialist gave no relief. Dr R identified annular tears on my MRI at L-2, 3, 4 & 5. After getting diagnostic injections with no change, stem cell (PRP) treatment was confirmed. It's been 3 months since the treatment and I'm in no pain. My healing will continue in time. Dr Robbins is a brilliant osteopath, friendly, sincere and shows he cares. His staff, Susan & Brittany are always pleasant and efficient.

Dr. Robbins is an exceptional doctor who truly cares about his patients. I have been very frustrated in the past and felt like most doctors viewed me as a number rather than a person and dr. Robbins goes above and beyond to make sure that I am receiving not only pain treatment, but treatment for what is causing the pain. I would highly recommend him!

I bounced around six doctors. Was being treated for muscle weakness, sent for PT, went for RFD (where nerves are severed) chiropractic adjustments. Nothing worked. Was accused of "Doctor shopping" by those who had no answers. Dr. Robbins was the first one to actually look at the MRI disk instead of reading the report. Turned out I was misdiagnosed. Had torn discs. Not normal wear and tear as told repeatedly. Dr. R managed to treat my pain so I became somewhat functional again and just recently underwent stem cell injections. I'm only a few days in but I already feel relief and I'm hoping this gives me my life back. I'm very optimistic.

Dr. Robbins has been my Doctor for many years and he understands that I do not like pain meds and when he gave me my stimulant implant it changed my life forever. He is the best!!!!!!! And Sue is so helpful with all of my needs also. Love this office!

Dr. Robbins works at Advance Diagnostic ,I have been treated by Dr. Robbins when he was in charge of the Veterans Medical Center West Haven ,Ct 06516.He was a fantastic doctor with great treatment styles and his bed side manner was tops.Dr. Robbins a great doctor,he is always coming up with solutions for treatment and gives gives everything he can for treatment. I have to say thanks to Dr. Robbins .

Excellent Dr. Took the time I needed to explain my injury so I could understand it. Also did am epidural shot. Superior bed side manner. You must talk to this dr if you have cronic pain.
