I should have read reviews prior to making appt. It seems that years ago people thought he was great, more recently not so much. He was extremely rude and arrogant. Would never recommend!!!

Dr. Magbalon placed intraocular lens in both eyes years ago and at the same time removed minor cataracts what were in of themselves not surgical, but removed them since he was placing lens. They helped my vision tremendously!!! In later years, I went to him because my life was getting darker and was diagnosed with Macular Degeneration AND Fuchs' Dystrophy. He referred me to Tallahassee for the macular degeneration and I began receiving injections in both eyes. After my macula was stabilized by Dr. Brooks in Tallahassee after many series of injections, Dr. Magbalon performed cornea transplants in both eyes for the Fuchs' Dystrophy. A year later, I can now see the notes in the song book and can play the piano/organ. I had not been able to see the notes for over 13 years. I am a very happy camper!! Dr Magbalon is very professional, excellent bedside manners, and explained in detail concerning the transplants. I highly recommend Dr. Magbalon!!!

My wife had surgery for her glaucoma by this supposed doctor and lost a lot of her sight. We got a 2nd opinion and my thoughts on Dr.Magbalon were confirmed as I overheard the doctor tell his nurse that he wasn't impressed with any of the surgeries that he has seen from Dr.Magbalon. Please stay away from him and find someone else....I wish we would have!

This clown told my uncle that he had cataracts and needed to have surgery but after a 2nd opinion in Tallahassee was told that he had minor cataracts and didn't need surgery at this time.

I had a dark spot to come before my eye. It was really annoying. I called Thomasville Eye Center on a Friday afternoon and was told to come on to the office. Dr. Magbalon saw me and advised me that I needed to see a surgeon as soon as possible. I was referred to a doctor in Tallahassee where I had surgery to save my eye. Thanks to Dr. Magbalon for seeing me on a Fri. afternoon and helping to save my eye.

Don't waste your time with Dr. Magbalon. He is very unprofessional and does a poor job which only results in higher costs down the road.

Dr. Magbalon is wonderful. While being professional, he has a very caring bedside manner. When he first diagnosed my issues I sort of freaked out, but he explained it all in laymans terms and sent me to a specialists who agreed with the diagnosis. Dr. Magbalon has a way of putting you at ease in his care. Since then he has done cataract surgery on both eyes and another procedure. I will say this about Dr. Magbalon....he is going to take care of you and if your problem is something he does not do, he will get you to the Dr. you need to see. I only wish he lived in Valdosta! Make an appointment! You won't be dissapointed.
