I was referred to Dr Makaroun by my cardiologist. He couldn’t have made a better recommendation. The Dr. was excellent, accommodating, very personable. The carotid surgery went great and the follow up did also. The staff were all great. After working in a hospital for almost 37 years this is the kind of experience you should always receive. After a wonderful consult, the office staff was next to impossible to obtain information from, did not return phone calls, ordered the wrong tests and seemed to be okay with it. I feel my insurance company and I were ripped off since the test ordered and the test performed were 2 completely different tests leaving me without any kind of diagnosis.
