Dr. Michael Minhlee Newan, MD

I have no idea how this doctor has been in practice for as long as he has been. The office is filthy. There are major inconsistencies with their billing "department" which is 1 person. When confronted with questions the doctor took no responsibility, blaming his nurse or billing person, and took no iniative to correct the problem. With the amount of issues my family member had, I am deeply concerned that there might be neglect of many of his patients. Please stay away!

I have had test after test, called to make an appointment could not see for over 3 weeks, called to see if I could get an earlier appt., was told by office they did not know if he would be in today, then was told after waiting 3 weeks my apt was not to see the dr but for more tests. I DO NOT NEED MORE TESTS I NEED TO SEE THE DR am having breathing issues,again was then told they did not know if dr would be in today. I asked t have dr call me was told to call another dr, see someone else!! Wow, have had breathing studies and tests done but cannot see the dr for treatment or results. Never again will I see this dr, not that I would even when making appts. Feel horrible need to see the doctor and am told go see someone else. Wow never had a doctors office tell me that when I said I was ill and needed to see a doctor. Worse experience with a doctor ever!!!

I waited 3 mos for an appt. One wk prior office called to resked because he was going to be out of town. Booked 1 wk later. I left a luncheon early to get there on time for my 2PM appt. I am told he called in sick and they had left a message for me at home....15 mins after I left at 11AM. They couldn't call at 9AM? Or he hadn't notified the office yet? I'm rebooked for following Fri at 1PM even though he doesn't usually see patients of Fri. I arrive to find another woman booked at same time. By 1:30 he had not returned from lunch. I left! Do not book with this man if you value your time. he has no regard for his patients. Office lunch hours are 11AM to 1PM.

Dr. Newan is a caring, dedicated physician. He is concerned for each of his patients and does what it takes to help you! Although the wait is long (1 hour+) I continue to see him.

Dr. Newan takes time to understand your issues, and decides the best method of treatment and medications.

Outpatient at St. Anthony's BronchoscopyProfessional, friendly, warm recommended.

I saw Dr Newan while an inpatient at Edward White hospital. He performed a bronchoscopy the day of discharge. Dr Newan did not give me a follow up appointment nor did he give me the results of the bronchoscopy. My primary care physician did not receive any correspondence from Dr Newan. I am now 2 months post procedure.As a medical professional I am very disappointed with this type of "care"

The office staff was outstanding in both professionalism and with giving a personal touch. Dr. Newan is warm, friendly, and professional as well. Highly reccomended by my view.
