Excellent surgeon, Outstanding Bedside manner, the best!

Amazing surgeon. I had lost weight with Dr. Nusbaum and then I had him do arm liposuction with the SmartLipo and my arms look amazing! Honestly you should check out his work on his instagram page. My before and after arm pics are up there too. He is TheWeightLossDoctor on instagram. I recommend him to everyone.

I had a gastric bypass in Texas years ago and ended up with a gallbladder problem here in NJ. I went to Dr. Gabre, who I love, and he took me to the operating room to have my gallbladder out but he found stones in the tube coming from it. From what I understand, there is no way to get those stones out normally, because of the bypass separating my stomach, without multiple surgeries. After the test, Dr. Gabre called out to Dr. Nusbaum for help (he was the chief of bariatric surgery at Morristown). Apparently Dr. Nusbaum is one of only like three surgeons in the NY metro area who knows how to get the stones out when the gallbladder is being removed. Dr. Gabre said that Dr. Nusbaum was actually on vacation but came in within like 30 minutes and got all of the stones out right then and there without having a series of surgeries. The most amazing part to me was that Dr. Nusbaum never charged the insurance company or me for doing the stone removal... he did it all for free. I saw him… two weeks after the surgery and he was so gracious and humble about it. I can't say enough about Dr. Nusbaum and how amazing he is.

I had weight loss surgery with Dr. Michael Nusbaum back in 2019. At the time everything was great and I looked forward to my weight loss journey. The day of surgery, Dr. Nusbaum took my hand and told me reassuringly that he would take very good care of me. I had no idea how true those words were. During the surgery Dr. Nusbaum noticed something that just didn't seem right. No one else in the room noticed it, but he saw a bulge near my diaphragm. He spent an extra hour dissecting out something that no one else even saw. Sure enough there was a small tumor growing on my esophagus right above my stomach. He removed it and sent it to the pathologist while I was still under. It was cancer. A cancer that I didn't know I had. His resection of the tumor had negative margins. My oncologist said that Dr. Nusbaum saved your life by finding that tumor. He said we would never have known until it was too late. Call it divine intervention or luck. Dr. Nusbaum saved my life.

Dr Michael Nusbaum saved my life. I had a gastric bypass surgery with another surgeon 10 years ago. In the last few years, I was having intestinal blockages that no one could seem to figure out. I have had three surgeries with three different surgeons all of whom were unable to fix the problem. Finally, I ended up at Dr. Nusbaum‘s office. He not only diagnosed my problem, but operated on me and fix the issue. I have now been Symptom-free for over two years. I owe him my life. As a result, I have become not only a loyal patient, but a close friend and personal attorney for him. I cannot say enough about him. I highly recommend him.

I did his Genetic Diet and lost 56 lbs in just 42 days. Now I'm on the monthly program and I'm just amazed at how amazing I look and feel. I've sent two friends and they have also had awesome results. Dr. Nusbaum and his staff are the best!

His Cedar Knolls office is gorgeous. The staff is phenomenal. I can’t say enough about how happy I am. I did his Genetic diet and lost 40 lbs. I’m sending all of my friends to him. I follow his IG account, theweightlossdoctor and love the stories.

I am so grateful to Dr Nusbaum. I had a sleeve with NY Bariatrics and I never lost the weight. I should have known that something was wrong when I booked my appointment and they couldn't tell me exactly who the doctor I was meeting with would be. Needless to say the surgery didn't go well and no one would touch me after... that is until I met Dr Nusbaum. He reassured me that we would figure it out together. He did an upper endoscopy on me, figured out what was wrong and fixed me at St Barnabas. I am doing great now, almost at my goal weight and so thankful to him, his staff and the staff at St Barnabas. I recommend him to everyone.
