Dr. Michael P. Bradley, MD

I received Mako plasty surgery on both knees at age 72 I am now 81. I had needed knee replacement for 4 years. I did fine from the surgery and can still walk well. I certainly could not do that when he did my much needed surgery. I am so grateful. Thank you Dr Bradley for being not only a fine skilled Orthopedic Surgeon but also an empathetic and compassionate one. I will never forget you and I will forever be grateful. I can WALK and with no pain!

I presented with a fractured wrist to his PA, not by my choice but due to lack of appointments with a MD. The dope of a PA (Stacie B.) said I needed surgery. I meet with Dr. Bradley beffore surgery maybe for ten minutes and that was the last time I saw him. Both pre-ops and post-ops were done by his PA’S, which was horrible and unknowable treatment. I had unbelievable pain and still do, five months out. When I asked for a refill, I was treated me like a drug addict. Erin Pratt, a PA told me no more pain medication. I left his practice to get a second opinion in Rhode Island and another opinion in Boston. Both doctors agreed the surgery was done incorrectly which would require corrective surgery. Yes, greedy doctor that used his PA’S to do his less than sorry work. Never again will I visit a doctor that uses PA’S and electronically signs his records. I question who did the surgery since it wasn’t mentioned. He will be having a peer review from South County Hospital in Wakefield, RI… along with a complaint against his medical license with the state Health Department. He will also be hearing from my attorney, something I have never had to do before but he is going to answer to his sorry treatment. Stay away.

I am 72 years old. I fell several weeks ago, fracturing my left patella, and was referred to Dr Bradley from the ER at South County Hospital. I was seen by Erin Pratt, PA, part of Dr Bradley's tream 2 days later and scheduled for surgery the next week. I have been extremely satisfied by the care I have received. Erin is excellent and I am confident in the care provided by a mid-level provider who is well-qualified. She explained everything very clearly to my husband and myself. I met Dr Bradley in the hospital (2 weeks ago) prior to the surgical procedure, which was very successful. My recovery has gone very smoothly. I was discharged to my home on the day of the surgery. Yes, I had a day or 2 that I was pretty uncomfortable, but the pain medication helped. I took the Ultram for 4 days, after which the extra-strength tylenol was fine. I appreciated Dr Bradley prescribing me a pain medication that I could tolerate (non-codeine). I am now starting PT tomorrow. I'll continue to use the… knee immobilizer for 4-6 weeks but I will be followed by Erin. I have full confidence in her and know that she would not hesitate to confer with & involve Dr Bradley should the need arise. I could not have asked for better care.

The recovery did not go well, and later found out it was a result of the surgery. Despite voicing my concerns with ongoing pain, I was given appointments with PA's who did not even bother to read the record and understand the issues. Finally had a second surgery by another orthopedic to correct issues created by first surgeon.

I have had 3 surgeries with Dr. Bradley. He is professional at all times and my knee is coming along well.

Listens to and discusses your worries with you. Makes you feel comfortable. Excellent surgeon. Up and about in 2 weeks.. Recommend him very highly.

First visit was with his PA but, the follow up (at my insistence) was w/the doctor. When he came in the room he sat a distance from me and proceeded to describe what he thought I had. At no point during this very short visit did this doctor bother to walk over to where I was seated in order to even look at the issue w/ my hand to make his diagnosis. Bad! I left, shocked by this, and vowed that I would never return.

Dr Bradley is a great physician but as far as getting an appt. for an emergency with the staff, forget about it. I called because I had to leave work due to extreme knee pain and not being able to walk on it and I was told it would be 3 days before I could get in. I wouldn't be able to return to work without a note from the doctor so now I have to go to a walk-in center where nobody knows my history. Most people work because they need the income, I can't afford to take 3 days off and try to tell my employer that I can't get in to see my physician in an emergency. My mom worked for physicians for over 20 years and they always made time for an emergency and not send their patient to a stranger. Something is wrong with today's medical practices, you're allowed 5-10 minutes for your appt. and you always feel rushed because they are on quoto's of seeing alot of people in a short amount of time to make lots of money. It's not about the relationships between patient and doctor… anymore. Sorry, I had to vent I'm in alot of pain!

Very kind, considerate, competant doctor. Extremely knowledgeable about his speciality, and all latest advances. I would highly recommend him!!
