Dr. Michael Joseph Pagnani, MD

I've gone to Dr. Pagnani twice now and both times he was super easy to work with and gave me detailed diagnoses that were easy to understand as well as got me on a path to fix my pain. The staff at his office are super helpful and communicative. I would highly recommend to friends and family!

Dr P and Justin his PA are the best!!!

I get it. Sometimes we don't get the result that were intended. However, when that happens you will receive no help in finding a solution or treatment, no assistance in diagnosing what the problem is. What you will receive is a brief lecture on how many times he as done the surgery.

This doctor actually told me that the nerves in my arm were not hurting me because people did not have nerves in their arm. I also had to request my own MRI that showed i had torn my manascus in three places, as Justin, the assistant I saw initially, wasn't even going to order one. I do not recommend Dr. Pagnani or his assistant to anyone.

My family and I have been seeing Dr Pagnani for years. He has operated on two of my children and has treated me and my husband for various aches and pains over the years. He is a great surgeon, but, more importantly, he is a great doctor who has helped us in many ways other than surgery. We can’t thank him enough for all he’s done for us.

When explaining that my arm hurt and gave sharp pain as though pressing on a nerve, he said "you just think that because there no nerves in your arms." Really? Does someone need to take their A&P class over? NEEDLESS to say, this doctor is very arrogant - I even had to ask for an MRI on my knee - which actually had to have scope surgery because the PA just put a brace on it and evidently had no intentions of scheduling an MRI to find out what was wrong. But on the positive side, it seems he did do a good job on the knee scope surgery.

Best shoulder surgeon in Tennessee!

Masters swimmer having had multiple procedure surgeries on both shoulders over 3 year period. Also had right ACL Alograft in 2010 and left in 2015 due to full tears of each... both knees working like a charm. Back to setting records in the pool. Dr P tells it like it is... no wishy washy answers, patient needs to be motivated to follow rehab plan for max outcome. Highly recommend.

I’ve been going to Dr.P for over 20 years. He rebuilt one knee when I was 38 from a sports injury. I’m a lawyer by trade so I’m not an athlete. since then he has worked on the other knee and recommended I not have surgery at one point when I thought I needed it again and simply sent me to PT to strengthen that knee. He talks to me he explains things instead of some who assume anyone other than a doctor is too stupid to understand. If I call with a question someone calls with an answer. Most recently I went to him to let him figure out my back pain, and he gave me some relief before referring me to a neurosurgeon for what has to be done. he’s just the best.
