Dr. Michael Stephen Schur, MD

Dr. Schur has been with Brevard Anesthesia Services, P.A. since 1987. He currently serves as Director of the Pediatric Anesthesia program for the Department of Anesthesiology at Holmes Regional Medical Center. Prior to joining our group, he served as Assistant Professor and Director of Pediatric Anesthesiology at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA and his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine, New Orleans, LA. He did his internship in pediatrics at the University of California, Sacramento and completed residencies in pediatrics (Mt. Zion Medical Center, San Francisco and UNC) and anesthesiology (UNC). He is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Pediatrics. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Florida Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Brevard County Medical …Society. The father of two children, Dr. Schur enjoys keeping up with their activities and playing golf whenever he can.
