Dr. Miguel M Limeres JR., MD

My mate and I both saw Dr Limeres as patients. Both of us had bad experiences.... every visit. Mine being the worst and my mate was present for that last visit because I wanted to have a witness as I suspected things were not going to go well based on our previous visits. I just had a feeling, yet I needed to be seen and have a refill on my meds till I could get to a new doctor. Because I'm wheelchair-bounded. I needed my mate there as my caregiver. I was truly stunned that he would talk to me the way he did and do the things that he did in front of my mate sitting there . My mate was flabbergasted. . Horrible experiences from a crude, unprofessional and lazy Dr. His office smells like a sewer which my mate quietly mentioned to one of the staff ...they say its a water line issue. I felt like I needed a hazmat suit just to be in his waiting room. Between my mate and me, we saw him as patients twice each over the course of almost a year and it always smelled like raw sewage in there and… they have an oscillating air purifier in there to try and help with the stench but it doesn't. First time I saw him I should have taken a clue and run because he told me he didn't have but 10 minutes to spend with me because he had been summoned to a medical board meeting that he had to get to. I could honestly tell you, 40 years of being a pediatric critical care R.N, I've dealt with many doctors. I know what it's like for some not to have great bedside manners but this honestly is incomparable to anything I've ever experienced before. I've also dealt with big egos, with attitudes and unpleasant demeanors, but this man takes the cake. Unless you have no other way to see someone else, I would recommend going elsewhere. I won't even tell you what happened on my second meeting and I thought seriously about calling the medical board and the health dept but I was way too sick to take on any battles. I ended up leaving and telling him what an unprofessional rude man he was ...and lazy. I have a lot of health issues so I am I'm under the care of eight specialists Physicians and was hospitalized nine times in 2024 so just saying, I know a little bit about medicine from both sides of the bed, as a nurse, and now as a frequent patient... and this Dr and that office place, there's something grossly wrong.. Rural Putnam County is a hard place to find good Physicians. I recommend going outside of Putnam County to find a doctor. I had a bad experience with another physician that was a specialist out here too. I find they're much more kind, professional and knowledgeable if you get to a bigger more professional type of an area. like Gainesville, St Augustine, Flemming Island, Palm Coast and Jacksonville. I've had good experiences at all those areas . Good luck and God bless. I told Dr Limeres as I was leaving that he needed help and I was going to keep him in my prayers because there's something not right with him. The response I got was a gesture from him.

The staff is horrible. They refused to allow me to see the doctor because they require you to select them as primary care before they will let you I the door. I have Humana insurance and they found that this office is required to renew their contract accepting the insurance. Because they had not done this, Humana marks them as not accepting new patients. I could not get them assigned as primary care and this office informed me that they were too busy to correct the problem. I have an acute problem and require a new prescription for blood pressure management, and offered to pay cash for my visit ($125) and wait for the insurance company to reimburse me. Initially, this was accepted, but the office manager over-ruled that decision and told me to finad another doctor as they would not allow me to pay if I had insurance and they would not allow me to see the doctor without having him assigned as primary care physician. Humana was going to call to try to sort this out, but time expired… leaving me to perhaps having to go to an emergency room for a trivial thing (not really trivial about the blood pressure, but not ER). Disgusted with this low-performing and non-sympathetic group. If they practice medicine the same way they help you through the door, BEWARE!

When I see Dr. Limeres it's like talking to a friend who happens to be a doctor. he's wonderful.

He spends ample amount of time w/me. Needs new more professional staff and a better medicinal monitoring system. I love him!

The doctor is great, he just needs new staff they make him bad an unprofessional.

All I can say is look for another doctor,thats what iam doing.

I would not recommend this Doctor to anyone. There were no new patient intake forms. There were no questions asked, no history taken. Meds are prescribed with no explanations given. I experienced no warmth or compassion.

Love Dr. Limeres, but his staff is unprofessional and at times rude.

My experience with this doctor was his role as the "on call" physician at the Palatka hospital. He apparently doesn't know what "on call" means. I was to be discharged after some heart tests at 4 o'clock. He was paged, and he said he would pick up his kids and be there soon. He must have picked them up in Tallahassee because at 9 PM, after 2 more calls, he still hadn't showed up. I finally had to sign myself out. Don't know if he ever came. It was a very stressful experience.

First rate attention to a very complicated clinical case handled with the utmost professionalism. Medicine is an art, this guy is VanGogh! Highly recommended.
