Dr. Cusnir and his staff are one of the best in what they do. We couldn't be more grateful with them for everything they did for our father throughout his entire journey. A family member was suffering from Cancer and Dr. Cusnir and his wonderful PA, Karen, saved her life!!!!!!!! I simply cannot recommend them enough as they extremely caring, patient, professional and incredibly competent. To say that they performed a miracle would be a gross understatement! Thank you Karen and Dr. Cusnir as without you, life would have simply and quickly ended for my mother.

I had a Monday morning, 8:30am to see Dr Cusnir. I got a phone call from him or someone in his office the prior Thursday night asking me why I want to see Dr Cusnir. I said my blood tests have shown a very high red blood cell and white cell counts. I need to be checked out for a life insurance policy I have applied for. He said okay, see you Monday at 9am. I said I have an 8:30am appointment. No, it is 9am he said. I show up at 8:40am to fill out the paperwork. The woman who does that shows up with her breakfast first. I sign all the papers and start waiting. At 9:30am I ask the receptionist, "When will my 9am appointment be honored?" She answered, you're next in line. At 10:00am I ask the reception, "When will my 9am appointment be honor?" She said there are only three examination rooms and four doctors. But let me ask the nurse. The nurse answers, "I'm too busy" and runs back into the back room. At 10:10am, I say to the nurse, "Please do not charge… my insurance for this waste of my time. And please call me if Dr Cusnir is ready to honor the appointment. Do you think he will call? Nah, I don't think so. (It's over two weeks and haven't heard). By the way, I may have erythrocytosis. Thanks, Mike, for doing your job. NOT! And by the way, is there a rating below one star?

BEWARE! If you go see Dr. Cusnir at Mt. Sinai you will be charged twice by his office and then hospital. I paid a $90 specialist copay for the initial visit and then got a $415 charge for using the Mt. Sinai facility. Then I went for a follow up and again I paid my $90 copay and received a bill for $144 for using the Mt. Sinai facility. Basically, if you go see Dr. Cusnir, you have to pay for his office visit and for his rent during the time he spend seeing you like when you pay a resort fee in a hotel. This was not disclosed at any moment by his staff. It costed me about $700 total to see Dr. Cusnir and he only spent about 15 mins between both visits. I recommend you go see another Dr. that will disclose how much they charge and not have the hospital then bill you for separate fees that were not disclosed during the visit. They are taking advantage of people so I wanted to put it out there so you're aware of this.

Dr. Cusnir saved my mother's life- she was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. His professionalism, solid staff and team, unending and uplifting optimism and honesty helped our family navigate and weather the emotional, medical and practical rollercoaster that a full treatment involves.

I appreciated Dr Cusnir's good vibes and positive outlook to my chemo treatment. He's quite informal and approachable and listened to all my concerns with genuine interest. Would highly recommend

Dr. Cusnir took the time to explain the possible complications of my disease to me and didn't make me feel rushes as I asked my questions. He made me feel at ease very quickly and described things in a manner that was easily understandable. I would recommend Dr. Cusnir to anyone seeking a specialist in his field.
