Dr. Mita Gupta, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Gupta for several years. She always listens and genuinely cares about her patients. Her office staff is friendly and helpful. On a side note: I do prefer not to have to see the Nurse Practictioner at Fontaine, she on the other hand is terrible and really does NOT care. Wait to see Dr. Gupta if at all possible.

Each time I've requested an appointment, I've been dispatched to the nurse practitioner who seems very fond of writing a quick prescription rather than getting to the bottom of the patient's true health issues. TWICE I have been written a prescription by her, on the basis of a 5-minute meeting during which my vitals weren't even taken. She even told me what I was suffering from, without vitals, tests, nor history. In both cases, her drive-through diagnosis was completely wrong. Fortunately, I didn't feel good about either meeting, so never took the prescriptions. She is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Dr, Gupta is an excellent doctor. She is extremely knowledgeable, caring, and concerned. She spends time with you and is not in a hurry to move you along.

Dr Gupta provided me with excellent care. She listens,always follows up, and her diagnostic skills were spot on. Dr Gupta listens, she doesn't enter your symptoms into a laptop and parrot back whatever the application determines . Mita Gupta has provided me with exceptional care.

Basically, unavailable when your need your doctor. One has the feeling that this is purely a business. Impossible to get care when you need it. I can tolerate just about anything but unavailability.
