Dr. Mitchell O Moskowitz, MD

Dr. Moskowitz gets a five. He explained everything very thoroughly and spent so much time with us. He was great. His nurse Michelle gets a zero. The chip on her shoulder could not have been bigger. The attitude started the minute we walked in the door. When we walked back to the room she announced she needed a urine sample. My husband said he couldn’t provide it right then (we were there for a follow up consult not an actual exam). She was so annoyed. We got in the room and there was one chair, the doctors chair and the exam table. I sat down in the chair and my husband sat on the table. Michele said my husband couldn’t sit there bc that’s where the doctor reviews his notes. So my husband stood. When dealing with urology issues and a cancer diagnosis, I am just beyond floored that this woman is even working for such a good doctor. We won’t be back to this practice. I wish there was a way I could report her to someone higher.

We have had the most HORRIFIC experience with this office. My husband was diagnosed with testicular cancer and referred here for immediate surgery. His nurse is extremely unprofessional, rude, and condescending at every turn - referring to the doctor as her "cranky uncle" to describe their unprofessional dynamic - and they have caused our post-testicle removal scans to be delayed by a week and counting as we wait for insurance to approve scans to see if his cancer has spread! All because his office "doesn't use those portals", and won't send anything but clinical notes to Cigna, even AFTER our Cigna advocates have gotten involved. RUN from this practice, even if it means waiting an extra week for important care.

Dr Moskowitz stands well above the Urology crowd in Dallas. I find him very efficient with both my and his time during exams. After every visit, I leave knowing exactly my current condition and the plan of care, timings, etc.

Was rude to me and yelled at me

After waiting a month for an appointment, Dr Moskowitz’ staff informed me that I had been entered into their system as “self pay.” I reminded them that when I made the appointment I gave them all of my insurance (BCBS) information. Too bad, I was informed. Since they didn’t have the time, I needed to get the authorization from BCBS. I then was told I needed to reschedule my appointment. When I contacted Blu Cross Blue Shield I was informed that the doctor’s office should have gotten the authorization. Wow. What a mess. If the level of care is as incompetent as the office administration, you should do what I have done...find a different doctor.

This dr is rude and disrespectful. Please run for your life!!!!

Dr. Moskowitz staff, specifically in Dallas location, are disrespectful and will tell you lies that their system is down, and put you on hold for an outrageous time and than transfer the call from one staff to another in order to get you to quit calling their office even for an important post-op appointment to remove a 70 year old man's catheter.

Dr. Moskowitz is very knowledgeable and caring. He explains very clearly his diagnosis, what caused it and how it needs to be treated. He is very thorough in explaining lab values, medications, procedures and follow up visits/treatments. He has 30+ years of experience and 'knows his stuff'. He has moved to a different office where appointments are easily made, wait time is very minimal and the staff are very caring and kind. His staff have always been professional and caring as is he. I would highly recommend Dr. Moskowitz without hesitation.

Worst Doctor ever, after waiting for almost 2 hours in the waiting area. I was call in I waited an other 45 minutes in the exam room for the doctor to come in. He was there for about about 4 minutes. I tried to ask question but Dr. Moskowitz kept stopping me from asking questions then said I'll be back I waited for Dr. Moskowitz to came back BUT never did the nurse came in 15 minutes later ask what the doctor wanted done I said I didn't know he walk out about 15 minutes ago I waited 5 more minutes then I decided to leave no one should be treated with disrespect as patient.
