Dr. Molly Maureen Torvinen, MD

I have been going to Molly Torvinen for years. Not once has she actually done anything to help me as a doctor. Usually when I would see her; it was me telling her about the work that my specialists had done for me thus, making her job easier. I fully agree with the other negative review in saying that she does not favor eye contact. Her head was buried in the laptop the whole time, everytime. The appointment I had today will be my last with her. I had made an appointment before seeing her today for my husband and my daughter. I will not subject them to her behavior. She was combative, cold, argumentative, impatient, rude, lacked listening skills and, empathy. She seemed very inconvenienced that she had to actually ask questions to a medical complaint and, do her job. If you’re looking for someone who will just refer you out to other people so she doesn’t have to deal with you, then great! She’s the one for you. I have many doctors, nurses, PA’s, CNA’s etc. in my family and, as clients… and, none of them agreed that her behavior today was okay. Patients should not have to leave crying! Just an FYI. Bedside manner was awful, communication was awful and, overall the worst experience of my life. Needless to say, I will not be returning.

From reading reviews I can tell you that Dr. T is a busy woman. If you're late to an appointment and have to reschedule then it is not her fault... Fix yourself and stop being so entitled. My review: Never had a bad experience and my whole family uses her as our PCP. Staff is always friendly, scheduling may sometimes be further out than ideal.. But Dr. T is accommodating, friendly and always takes her time with her patients. I've never felt rushed or that any of my concerns are going unaddressed. I have full confidence in Dr. T and her staff. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fantastic PCP.

I was 11 minutes late and she refused to see me. I tried to call to let them know I was running late but as usual you cannot get thru to the office. If you leave a message they never call back anyway. I suffer from severe insomnia and Tinnitus (ringing in the ear) and my nights are long and days are not much better. I admit I have missed appointments but today I begged and cried to be seen and was treated like I was nothing. I have worked in the medical field all my life and have never treated a patient with such disrespect. I would not recommend Dr. Torvinen at this time.

So far, no follow up, even after a call to the office as a reminder, I really wanted to know what my labs showed.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Torvinen and appreciate her professional and caring manner. I'll definitely return.

I probably could have met with Dr. Torvinsen sooner; however, I am also a professional with many people depending on me and I had to wait until I had a brief break from work. This being said, I DREADED seeing this Dr. - Being sick and having a lack of choices, I had no choice to reschedule. After this final visit, I demanded a new doctor. I will not be treated in such a way by a woman who lacks social skills and empathy.
