Dr. Namita Pareek, MD

I, too, thought Dr Pareek was one of the best gastroenterologist I had ever had. I am a 65 year old female who went to her in 2016 with constant acid reflux and feeling full as soon as I ate a few bites. She ran extensive testing on me and found no significant problems and gave me a prescription reflux drug to help with acid reflux. Unfortunately for me, Dr Pareek did not know that symptoms of ovarian cancer also are similar to gastrentestinal problems. One year later I was diagnosed by my PCP with late stage ovarian cancer. I endured a long and difficult treatment of surgery and toxic chemotherapy that put me in an 8 month remission. I have now reoccurred and am trying a second round of chemotherapy. There appears to be little education about symptoms of ovarian cancer for women or even physicians. Dr Pareek did not suggest I seek further diagnostic tests for any other disease causing the symptoms I had. She was also aware that I was a breast cancer survivor which can put some women… at higher risk for ovarian cancer. Peggy L.

They both helped taking care of my elderly mother who has now passed away but her last few months were made comfortable by these two docs. They helped me in making difficult decisions. I knew four people who have had problems because of colonoscopy so as you can imagine I was extremely scared. Dr. pareek's gentle bedside manners and kind but confident demeanor helped me to overcome my fears. I have been having multiple GI symptoms for last 8 years. I saw many specialists, finally my friends recommended me Dr Pareek. As I had already seen many GI doctors before, I had my reservations before seeing her. But after her first office visit, she instills hope in me. She did only a few basic procedures and she was able to diagnose and detect so many things that other doctors did no do. I am feeling that I am going in right direction.
