Dr. Narendra K Maheshwari, MD

My mother had seen this doctor for years and it is surprises how he unprofessionally rude he can be. He is very dismissive and gets on the defensive when he is questioned. The way he responds it is as if he is being irritated. I told my mother it was time to search for a new doctor because our last encounter with this doctor shocked me. We were talking with him and asking questions assuring my mother understood what he said when he walked out on us out of the examination room without excusing himself. He appeared to be irritated at what I am not sure. There was not any argument or disagreement so I was dumbfounded at what occurred. My mother asked me is he gone I told her I guess so. I have never experienced such disrespect from a healthcare professional. He is extremely rude. Over the years we have tolerated his rude behaviors but I told my mother that was the last time he disrespected us. If he is knowledgeable his unprofessionally rude behaviors make it hard to get that. This is a… doctor who would come to the room and not even use a stethoscope to check my mother out and yet ask her to come back every month for a follow up. During the time my mother has see this doctor he never appears to be having a good day. He is always rude, short with you, dismissive and hurried. I hope he reflects and thinks on how he would feel and react if the same treatment he gives would be given to him and his loved ones. I have not observed my mother getting any compassionate care from this doctor. He appears to never have time to listen. Every time we went to his office seem to be an off day for him.

My mother has seen this doctor for sometimes and it is interesting to me how unprofessionally rude he can be. He is dismissive, often time not even use a stethoscope to assess my mother and requires her to see him monthly. Our last encounter with him, he was extremely rude and we could barely get a word out because he always seems to be on the defensive and he actually walked out of the examination room in a temper while he was being addressed and he did not even excused himself. I was shocked I have never experienced such disrespect from a health care professional. I really think he acts this way because of the population he serves refuses to stand up to him and tell him he is not allowed to treat others this way especially as a health care professional. I have not experienced any compassionate care for my mother from this doctor. If he is a knowledgeable doctor his unprofessionally rude behavior makes it difficult to experience that. He is not a kind person. I hope he reflects on… how he approaches and treats people and ask himself how would he react to someone else treating and addressing him in the same manner.

when to office and it was standing room only was later told that it was first come first served. had 830 appointment was not seen until 10:oo

Love Dr Maheshwari but his office staff leaves a lot to be desired. Went for Dr visit then was told to schedule a visit for blood work which I specifically told the front desk asst that was what I needed to schedule another appt for. So went in today and waited for 2 hours and finally said that I was just there to donate blood for blood work and asst said that we do not do blood work on Tuesdays (?????????????) Needless to say I wasted 2 hours sitting in an office for absolutely no reason. I will have to select a new primary care physician now because I will not go back. Again, I love Dr Mahaeshwari but the incompetence of his staff is very disappointing!

Dr.M makes u go to his office for everything so you wind up paying for test results that most doctors would just inform you about....terrible doctor

My mother has been a patient of Dr M for many many years - Dr. M is one of the best doctors from Broward Health North - he is compassionate, thorough and has a kind bedside manner. Arie is very friendly, super quick & reliable with handling any need that may arise. She is knowledgable and extremely helpful when tending to any question we encounter. Roxanne is also very personable during our appointments, always interested in the overall purpose of her appointments.

This guy is a real good Dr. His staff is very efficient and they are very good at keeping track of requests for referrals and specialist visits. I had an insurance problem and it ended up that this Dr. was not on the plan I had chosen even though he was on some of the plans for that Insurance Co. It ends up I have been going to a different primary for the past year and now that it is open enrollment again, I am trying to get back to him!!

His staff - Liz, Maria, Mangeli - are wonderful - professional, kind, attentive, and very good at their job. Dr. Maheshwari is so kind and attentive to all his patients and genuinely and truly cares for them, their health, and well being.
