Dr. Nathaniel Robb Whaley, MD

Overall solid appointment. Dr Whaley listened to an overwhelming amount of info and managed to keep a good attitude, which many neurologists cannot do. He had some good ideas, willing to take on the case. Trying to interact with this office is hard, though, as they don't answer their phone.

If you like being talked to like you are stupid and believe it is acceptable for elderly patients to be roughed up during their exams, then by all means, Dr. Whaley is the Dr. for you. After this headache specialist, Nathaniel Whaley, waltzed into the room with no mask or PPE, he offered his EXPERT ADVICE to my vulnerable grandmother in her 80s with severe breathing problems and asthma to disregard all COVID 19 precautions. Meanwhile, he was physically abusive during the exam of my grandfather who has recently suffered a stroke and some loss in function of motor skills. Then proceeded to engage in a full blown argument with us stating that, "have you ever even known anyone who has died from COVID 19?" "It's just the flu" "you don't need to take any precautions to protect yourself from COVID 19" followed by a smug comment about his professional mutual connection to the Mayo clinic and an unnamed medical adviser to Gov. Bill Lee. If you love your family members and fellow community… members, you will stay as far away from this Dr. As possible. No complaints about anyone else in the practice. Except they told everyone their temperatures were 96 degrees upon entry to the office, which, doesn't take a medical expert to see the thermometer was faulty and needed to stop being used. Absolutely pathetic, never in my life have I EVER SEEN A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL MISTREAT AN ELDERLY PERSON SO POORLY. That's okay though, we will be seeking legal action to resolve this matter. And in the meantime I will do everything in my power to end this man's career. YOU TOOK AN OATH, MR. WHALEY! NATHANIEL WHALEY NEEDS TO HAVE HIS MEDICAL LICENSE REVOKED!!!!!

I would have given the doctor 5 stars if he had a different nurse. She is rude and grumpy. I don’t pay a doctor to have his nurse to be rude and yell at me.

I have been going to neuro's for over 30 years. Worst one ever. Does not seem to care about anything but money. Will not listen to you, does not report facts in your medical record and If you question anything be prepared to see even a worse side. The only good thing I can say is that is he is smart but that does not help when he uses it only for his benefit.

Dr. Whaley has treated me with respect and has been good to me. He listens to what I say, answer my questions without question, or acting like I'm bothering him because I ask. Never has he treated me like I was stupid for asking a question. He has seen & treated me at the hospital, very well. He shows me he has excellent "bedside manner". Some of the staff could take some lessons on his willingness to answer questions. All-In-All the treatment has been VERY GOOD! at office & hospital. And I have many medical problems, which he always takes into consideration, especially when introducing a 'new' medication to my system. I was at another hospital, & was transferred to the one he practices at, just seeing his face relaxed me, because I knew he would get to the bottom of the problem without 'unnecessary' test, he knows me & my system so well. Thanks for your GOOD care!

I go every 3 months for my condition but if I need a prescription refill or want to go back to a med. that was working better for me before he changed my prescription. I have to come back in to see him and pay another co-pay as well as my insurance company paying again before he will put me back on the same medicine that was working better for me before he changed it! I could understand if it was a med. that I hadn't had before. He also appears to be in a hurry each time I see him. Seems like I can't tell him all that is going on different with me or what has changed with my condition before he starts making recommendations for my care. There are other doctors that will listen to me when I say something. This is why I am getting a different neurologist. Don't know why I have stayed with him for almost 2 years (which is my fault). I believe he needs more experience!

Dr. Whaley was very thorough with the initial exam and was in no rush to make a quick diagnosis. Good bedside manner and asked many questions and was willing to listen and determine true problems that existed. First visit built a lot of confidence in him.
