Poor physician, arrogant, liar and unprofessional and unprepared.

I know they say it's okay for surgeons to have HORRIBLE BEDSIDE MANNORS, which I disagree, but his was the worst I've ever had the un-pleasure of witnessing! He has a really bad attitude with a smart mouth to go alone with it!!! My family member died and he never came back and talked with us nor did he explain what went wrong in the OR. We had to wait and ask for the report on what happened and that's when we found out everything he told us happened after the surgery was a complete LIE!!!! I wouldn't recommend him to operate on my dogs! Where I live I've found two other family that he operated on their loved and they also died and he never talked with them either...His licenses should be taken away or a least send him back to school. I would love to see his record for how many people has died under his care. He botched the first surgery and we didn't know this until our family member had to have surgery again, we knew he had never got better and it was suppose to be very simply valve… replacement and he was in ICU for two weeks because it was leaking - instead of correcting it then he wanted until it was too late and then he did the surgery knowing it was too late and that he wouldn't survive the surgery, which we were not told. I hope and pray that everyone that is considering him read his reviews and notice his overall rating is 3!!!! God bless everyone family members that has lost a love one because they chose the WRONG HEART DOCTOR. I can’t think of anything lacking in Dr Doolabh or his staff. If you need heart valve work this is the doctor you need, don’t go anywhere else. I had 2 valves repaired with a 2” incision and was able to do anything I wanted in 10 days.

Have not seen since dismissed from HOSPITAL. I have called many times to get consult with him.His nurse told me he would call me back. Still no call even after told having trouble.

My mom went in for an exam with her cardiologist. He scheduled a procedure that resulted in a need for a heart valve replacement and bypass surgery for the very next day. He came in while my mom was still groggy from the anesthesia, he asked her several questions, asked if she had any. She simply wanted to know if she would be able to dance again... Throughout the procedure, he kept us informed by calling the lobby and giving me updates. 6 weeks post op, we went to his office for a follow up/post op visit. His first statement/question to her "are you ready to start dancing again?". He spent only a few minutes with her yet he remembered what was important to her. His professionalism was obvious from the start and his bedside manner was what I would expect from a surgeon there to do a job, and do the job well. He was never rude nor condescending. I would recommend him to any of my famuly, and if the time ever arises that I require a heart surgeon, I will… ask for him.

He was very arrogant and his bedside manners were terrible. Please stay away from this doctor. I regret the day that my husband (god rest his sole) ever came to him. He was not honest about the inadequate care that he gave to my husband. He avoids questions and is very short with his answers. I can't stress enough how unprofessional this man was to me and my family.
