Neil Palmisano, MD, MS

It is a pleasure for me to write a review of Dr. Palmisiano based on a recent outstanding virtual visit with him. For what it is worth, I am writing from the perspective of a physician who himself has had thousands of patient encounters, as well as that of a very concerned patient. Without revealing too much on a public forum, I needed a second opinion for a very serious blood disorder and chose Dr. Palmisiano because of the reputation and accomplishments of the hematology department at Jefferson Health with which he is affiliated. During my visit I was very impressed with Dr. Palmisiano’s deep understanding of all aspects of hematology, including my uncommon disorder, and also extensive experience with patients having the same problem. Additionally I was impressed with his genuine concern, patience and compassion. He was able to convey his opinions, all based on his strong knowledge, about my diagnosis and management in a very kind manner. Despite the seriousness of my disorder, I… finished my visit with Dr Palmisiano feeling much better. I highly recommend Dr. Palmisiano to any patient with a blood problem.
