Dr. Neil Stuart Shechtman, MD

Five Stars Dr . Shechtman has been our Dr for 17 years. He saved my husbands life in 2018 .. We are so blessed having Dr Shechtman for our Doctor. The staff always so helpful.

Dr. Shechtman has been my doctor for 19 years and is responsible for helping me survive to the rip old age of 80. His caring and intuitive manners gives me great confidence in his practice. He is in fact the very best physician I have ever had in my life.

I have had nothing but the best from Dr. Shechtman and his staff. He's been my physician for over 19 years and has seen me through some very difficult times, including colon cancer, a dvt, shingles and the list goes on. He makes sure we are up to date on all our screenings, etc. He is truly a blessing for our family.

We trusted this physician's office for over a decade, but when it came to a time of great need with a disability claim due to a stroke, hospitalization, and subsequent nursing home move, they were unwilling to help. They could not even return our phone calls, we were told "the doctor probably just won't call you back", and "he doesn't want to fill out the forms". This was the only provider that could provide the needed documentation of the medical condition prior to the hospitalization. Very discouraging for a medical provider to be unwilling to help their long-time patient get paperwork done to help pay for their long-term care needs.

Excellent,glad I found you when I moved here. New patient taken on time, staff was wonderful and Doctor was caring and sympathetic. I'm retired so you can imagine how many doctors I've seen in my lifetime. I give you my highest recommendation.

Went to the emergency room several times with my stomach hurting and everytime was told I had stool backed up. My stomach continued to hurt so I went to Dr. Shechtman and he told me I had acid reflux. I have been good ever since I have seen him and take the medicine her prescribed.

This man is afraid of insurance companies, DEA, his new staff makes errors patients have to fix. He uses 3 month unnecessary blood work patient follow up as his bread and butter. Complaints are being filed with insurance company, DEA, board of medicine and Florida health.

Iam an RN I feel MD has no concept of how to handle complex care. I basically was called a liar and that the highest cause of death for nurses was to treat themselves medically without knowledge of how to do it. I attempted to give past medical hx. and was told that the diagnosis could not be possible. I have contacted my MD from Cincinnati and my records will be coming. Yes Doctor you can see EKG change from untreated HTN .. yes Doctor calcium channel blockers can cause Vascular dermatitis .. Yes Doctor Uncontrolled DM II and sleep apnea can be cured by gastric bypass .. Yes Doctor I have a "fatty liver" ..I lost 200 lbs .... The reason I came to you was to find the cause for explicit symptoms ..you hush me every time I attempt to speak, calling me baby hold on baby and you have never heard my chief complaints! I do not Doctor shop I do not take drugs I have had 2 PCP only because insurance change or it would be one . Doctor I am not an alcoholic I would tell you, I will tell you… I am a Christain with firm belief in truth and following the golden rule which is Christs greatest commandment .. To love one another. Dr. Shechtman you're in the wrong field!

Dr. Schechtman has been my elderly mother's doctor for a few years. He infrequently 'bothers' her with tests or pays attention beyond the annual check-off. My brothers and I have been suspicious for the last 5 years that our mother has had troubling symptoms but Dr. Schechtman didn't seem to investigate. Twice in the last 18 months we've had to demand references to specialists for dire symptoms. During that time she has been in the emergency room 3 times. When we called Dr. Schechtman, he neglected to return calls to my brothers even when his office staff promised he would. After six unreturned calls, we were forced to find medical attention for her from a professional who is more responsive.
