Dr. Nicholas Louis Depace, MD

WARNING, DO NOT GO HERE. If I could give negative stars I would. My husband was seen by Dr Depace and his appointment was at 2:30pm, but we werent seen until 6:30pm, then we didn't end up being done until 8:00pm. Insane. Dr Depace didnt go over any of the test results with us or what they meant, just told him what meds to take. The front desk is completely incompetent. They either don't answer the phone, their mailbox is full (I've never had that happen at a Drs office) or you literally will be hung up on while waiting for the phone to be answered. When they did answer, my husband was on hold for 20-30 minutes. We live over an hour away and he's had to drive up there a few times to get copies of paperwork because they don't answer the phone. They say they don't fill out paperwork and don't keep accurate notes of what was done within the visit. My husband drove up to them yesterday again to pickup copies of his records and waited 1.5 hours. Its wild because he is a highly respected and… recommended dr. but in reality he is one of the worst drs we've ever been to and suggest no one go here either.

Rude Unprofessional Couldn’t get in touch with him for DAYS !! Made us an appt for a time that he wasn’t even in office for until 2 hrs later ! UNAPOLOGETIC

Will not be going back!! Took 1 week to get script for nitro cause of chest pain I had 5 days earlier may or may not have been Angina (3weeks later still don’t know) had to show up in person to get that. I have nothing good or bad to say about Dr Depace himself but as far as his staff and how he allows his office to run is horrifying and unacceptable. Dealing with them has my anxiety way up. They don’t answer their phone nor do they return the messages you leave with answering service during business hours or their voice mail. I have left a half dozen messages in 2 weeks trying to get a status on when I will be having the tests done that the Dr ordered 3weeks ago. I’m obviously not important enough to get a return phone call so this office is not important enough to have me as a patient. Currently looking for new cardiologist and since stopping in the office is the only way you can get attention I will be going in for a copy of my medical records. Just beware if you have high anxiety… you must stay away from Dr Depace s office. Very hard to deal with.

Worst place ever. Was told 3 hour wait. I have a heart issue. The lady's explanation was that he spends his time with the patients. Granted he may, he also overbooks. It's math. He is cramming as many patients in and then making it so many people can't even book an appt with him. To expect a heart patient to wait 3 hours or more is unreasonable on all accounts, no matter what the justification is. It's not safe. People with sugar issues, spinal issues, dysautonomia, and heart issues who have a strict routine for their health can be made way worse by waiting. If you have the health to wait then great,you wait. But those who don't have adequate means to wait will suffer. And the company is very disorganized. The staff made at least 7 mistakes with my appointment. It was almost laughable. Sure the dr may help but I'm not sure if i trust him coming from his office like that. Also I saw him years ago and he dismissed me and didn't spend much time with me at all, so all the… office staff who is probably told to give that reason isn't accurate for all patients . What he did actually was spent an hour and a half of an appt with me but vanished 3 times during the appt. People need to wake up and realize when he walks away it's bc he's going to assist another patient during your visit. When I tallied up the actual time spent it was maybe 30 min and I didn't get to finish staying what was going on, and felt really ill after leaving the office. This should be illegal and I don't know how he's gotten away with it. My health was so bad the next day. I can't afford to make any more appointments with him.

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. DePace. After 20+ years of feeling dismissed by doctors, I found one who listens, runs the right tests, confirms the physiological reason for my symptoms and actually has an action plan that is helping! I actually look forward to my appointments with him. (Sometimes, if you are lucky Dr. Columbo will be in the office too and listening to them discuss my treatment plan and getting to understand the logic behind their choices is double gold. Dr. Columbo explained things to me that no one has been able to do in 20 years.) I'm not going to lie, it is frustrating trying to reach his office on the phone, get paperwork, etc. His office can be overwhelming. It's also frustrating to wait all day for your appointment when you show up at the scheduled time. I basically block the rest of the day off after my appointment time, because you never know when you'll actually get out of there. It's so worth it though! I would wait whatever it takes to see Dr. DePace - once he's… there though, get your brain turned on, because he's going to throw information at you quickly. Even if you are only with him for a short time, you'll learn a lot at each appointment. After suffering for so long with various autonomic conditions, it feels amazing to know I will be well again. Even if you've lost faith in medicine as a whole like I had, it's worth making a trip to his office. Bring an open mind/heart and a good way to pass several hours, follow his advice - he's got a lot of experience/knowledge and he can actually help you.

My husband and I are patients. Dr . DePace is the most ethical physician I have ever known. He orders tests only when necessary which should be standard practice for all doctors although in reality it is not. He has always been ahead of his time. He ordered supplements such as coQ10 and others 20 years ago. He truly has the patient's best interest in mind in formulating a treatment plan. The only issue is the wait time at his office but everyone knows and expects it and are willing to wait.

Dr. Dapace is a good doctor and an interesting person as well. You can see some of his art collection throughout his office spaces. It's great that the doctor shares his joy there, especially since he spends so much time working I don't know when he would have the chance to enjoy his passion otherwise! One of the other patients told me he also has quite a big baseball card collection on display. I'm sure my father would love to see that! He's an author as well and I recently received an autographed copy of one of his medical books. This doctor is a blessing to all of his patients.

will never go back. Called answering service because I was having extreme pressure in my head. He called and said to go to ER. ER said it was caused by medication Dr Depace put me on and to follow up with him. Called Dr Depace office the receptionist have me the earliest appointment was a week away and asked if I should continue with medication. Never got a call back. Called answering service told them it was emergencyy never called me back. I'm done with this dr. He is more involved with his museum and buying shoes then patients. Offices are gross, not clean, out dated. Hours are crazy.

Yes, there is a long wait, but rather than go to several places to get tests done, you get them all at once here so in the end, it is more efficient. ...
