Dr. Nicholas Yogi Mehta, MD

I had been doing allergy treatment at Dr. Mehta's practice for nearly a year. Recently, I paid for a set of allergy drops. The drops took a couple weeks to be made and then we had difficulty arranging a time for me to pick them up. The allergist was very difficult to get a hold of because she was rarely in the office and when she was there, was always occupied with patients. We played phone tag for a few days and then she stopped returning my phone calls. By the time she did call me back, the window for me to pick up the drops had elapsed, and now they required me to pay for a starter vial ($150) before they would release the drops I already paid for. This was unfair to me, given that it was the allergist's poor communication that made me miss the window, but they will not accept financial responsibility. Also, I found Dr. Mehta, in my initial consult, to be short and dismissive when I expressed concerns about the safety of the allergy treatment, and I had to wait for nearly an hour… once because the allergist was not on time.

I can't say enough nice things about Dr. Mehta and the office staff. Not only is Dr. Mehta very caring and compassionate, he is also a pleasure to be around. It is very clear that he truly loves his job and his patients. After having a minor sinus surgery, he personally wheeled me out to the car. He is an extremely personable doctor. He was also very good at explaining my options, and I felt he explored all possible avenues of my condition.

I visited Dr. Mehta as a result of an Emergency Room visit referral. I found him to be very pleasant, thorough, and caring. I would no hesitate to recommend Dr. Mehta.

I have been to Dr. Mehta several times for a recurring ear issue. I was seen promptly and Dr. Mehta was highly professional and knowledgeable.

I was seen just after 10 minutes of waiting, and while I waited, I filled out new patient paperwork and paid my copay charge. The receptionist was very nice to me.Dr. Mehta did not rush me out of the office. We discussed my symptoms, he made a diagnosis, and we discussed treatment options thoroughly. Overall, he was personable and down to earth, yet seemed pretty knowledgable for a young doctor.

Not season yet.....Needs more experience.Two of his so called Partners are Excellent.Can not find thid Dr in the Hospitaldirectory.
