ruined my vacation

This is my second operation with NICKY, elbow and thumb. CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH POSITIVE.

This is to acknowledge the professional manner in which Dr. Leung performed and has handled my recent surgery. I was involved in an automobile accident in which the bones in my forearm were fractured. This required orthopedic surgery and the installation of a metal plate in my arm. Throughout the preparatory, operation and post operative procedures I found Dr. Leung to be a compassionate, knowledgeable, thorough and insightful physician who is attentive to his patientâ??s needs and concerns. I highly recommend him as an orthopedic surgeon.

For years I've had pain, burning and numbness in my hand. I went to 4 different doctors and was diagnosed with ulnar nerve damage. After two failed surgeries on my elbow I saw Dr. Leung. He was not in a hurry and spent time talking to me and going through all of my medical records, which none of my other doctors did with me. After all this he told me the problem was actually in my neck! Within a week I had an MRI and a steroid injection in my cervical spine and my pain is gone! I finally sleep well at night and I feel like he has given me my life back.

When I met Dr. Leung at first I was worried. He looks younger than my son who's in college. But after seeing 3 different ortho docs in one year for my tennis elbow, with physical therapy, 3 steroid injections and a surgery that didn't work, I decided why not. After looking at my arm, Dr. Leung told me I actually have a plica in my elbow. He recommended orthoscopic surgery. It was great. By the time I went to have my stitches removed all my pain was gone already. I looked at my arm today and I can't even tell where the scars are.

I saw Dr. Leung for a second opinion after having failed carpal tunnel surgery in both hands. He spent a lot of time with me explaining why I was still having pain, and I finally felt like I understood what was going on after years of frustration. He was not in a hurry and I felt like he really listened to me.

Excellent doctor. I would recommend him to anyone.

Great bedside manner, especially with kids. My 2-year old daughter usually dreads visits to the doctor but seemed to trust him from the very start.

I had a very pleasant overall experience at Newton-Wellesley Orthopedic Associates. The office staff was professional, courteous, and very accomodating to my schedule. Dr. Leung was very thorough in his explanation of why I was having elbow pain. He also seemed to make it a point to give me the treatment plan that would minimize hassle and expense on my part, which I thought was very considerate. Finally, I think he has a nice sense of humor, which goes a long way in reassuring a patient who may be very anxious about being in a doctor's office.
