Dr. Otto Marino Ramos, MD

Dr. Otto M. Ramos, who is board-certified in pediatric infectious diseases, is the author of more than a dozen professional articles, and a frequent speaker on disease-related topics. He serves as chairman of the hospital’s Infection Control Committee; section chief editor, Pediatric Infectious Diseases, International Pediatrics; and moderator of the hospital’s annual pediatric postgraduate course. Dr. Ramos earned his medical degree from the University of Santiago, Spain, followed by postgraduate training at University Hospital, Jacksonville. He completed pediatric residencies at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, and Driscoll Foundation Children’s Hospital, Corpus Christi, Texas, as well as a fellowship in pediatric infectious diseases at the University of Texas Medical School, Houston.
