Dr. Pamela Lynn Garjian, MD

My PCP referred me to this gastroenterologist. I called the office and a person by the name of Evelyn, said she checked their records (they are associated with Gastro Health) and because I had cancelled an appointment with another doctor within their group back in 2015, Dr. Garjian had to approve an appointment. Evelyn promised to call back and never did, so I guess I was not accepted by this holier-than-thou doctor and her staff because an appointment was canceled 7 years ago. Is this ludicrous or what?

Pamala is a GREAT doctor but I can not deal with her staff. Her staff far as receptionist it’s going on 2 weeks I haven’t got my results, They haven’t sent my results to my primary. I called they were suppose to have the doctor call me but never got a call I am DONE

I went in early for a 9am appointment and finally got out of there at 1pm. The staff was pleasant but disinterested. I was not apologized to for the delay nor was I informed of it while I was waiting. I had to ask when I would be seen and their excuse was that she liked to spend a lot of time with her patients. If that is the case they need to schedule the appointments accordingly, if it really takes 30 mins with her then allow for that time between patients. My time is just as valuable as hers and I do not like them wasting it.

She is the best.

How can I possibly rate a doctor who's staff refuses to give me an appointment only because I was a patient of another doctor (who retired). Not accepting any patients from Dr. ...... retired, SAY WHAT? WHAT? How un- American is that ? What is happening to this country? I'd say however this is not the proper forum to express my thoughts on that.

I as referred to Dr. Garjian by a relative. I am sure that she may be a good doctor but my experience with her was humiliating. Unfortunately , I have struggled with nicotine over the years . She smelled it one me and made big scene in the office. She ran out of the room all the while berating me. She came back into the room wearing a large mask with a plastic visor, leaving the door open. I had to ASK her for a prescription for the uncomfortable gas pain and bloating. She really had nothing to say to me. Her bedside manner is horrific. Then she made sure she informed ALL my doctors AND insurance company of my nicotine struggle. (As though they did not already know!) No, this was not the doctor for me. No empathy, no personality, and needs to follow her own dietary advice!
