Dr. Patrick Chandler Murray, MD

Dr. Patrick Murray took me in right away and performed surgery. My wrist was badly broken, now my bone is perfect. Staff also great.

I broke my tib-fib in 3 different places after falling off the lift gate of a shipping truck. My leg was literally dangling and Dr. Murray placed a rod in my leg, so that my bones would heal. I've met with him many times including appointments for my leg recovery, carpel tunnel, back pain, and an infection in my toe. He may come off as a little strange and often very sarcastic. At times I didn't agree with his views, but he is a remarkable doctor that knows what he's talking about and cares for all his patients. For all orthopedic trouble, he probably has a solution to it. My advise, even if you don't agree on everything he says, listen to him anyway. The guy has great insight and you can learn alot from him.

Excellent in surgery, if there's anything excellent about being cut. He's the one !

Dr. Patrick Murray was such a joy to have. He is truly a blessing. My father came up for a business meeting with supposedly a "sprained ankle"...but when we took him to the ER at Pali Momi, we found out that his foot was broken in three places and already started to heal. My sister used to work for Dr. Murray and immediately called him. He was kind enough to take my father under his wing and when we met him, he made us feel so much better. We were relieved to know that dads foot was going to be fixed. Dr. Murray, thank you for being an awesome person. Thank you for not only fixing dad's foot but for assuring us on his recovery and for being concerned with his other medical conditions. God bless you always :-)

Dr Murray saved my ankle after a fall off a cliff. Fortunately the local hospital didn't try to perform surgery and i was flown to QMC. In view of the severity of my break and how well i've recovered, Dr Murray does excellent work. Not the best bedside manner but great surgeon. i would highly recommend him especially in trauma situation.

I slipped and fell during my vacation in Honolulu last week. I ended up breaking my ankle in multiple areas and required surgery the following morning after the fall. Dr. Murray was my orthopedic surgeon at Queens Medical Center and did a great job. He was easy to talk to, worked quickly to get me checked out of the hospital in time for a wedding I was in, and did this all why maintaining a good humor and friendliness not seen from a lot of doctor's these days. It was nice to have a good doctor when you are on vacation and injured, he lightened up the bad situation but was realistic enough for me not to end up in bed all weekend following my release from the hospital.

Dr Murray is an excellent surgeon and takes work seriously. He is not a good communicator and in my case let the resident handle most daily communications.
