I am a young Senior and was shocked with my diagnosis of dry maculeur becoming wet. Since I am allergic to the anestetic, I made the decision to get the avastin shot immediately anyway. Since there is a Doctor in the immediate family, I have close support which gives me the courage to be assertive if needed. He was very understanding when I called this week. It is too early to share results but his chair side manner and knowledge were superior. I am NOT a good patient because I question everything and learned not to delay if I am concerned about anything,
