Dr. Paul Michael Norris, MD

Dr. Norris is the best for one he is a people person you ask a question he has the answer he makes you feel important. He is a listener Dr. Norris in my opinion is the best far as practices.

Dr. Paul Norris and staff was very knowledgeable and very friendly easy to talk, an listen to me I Love this Dr. Norris very funny Dr. Doctor very knowledgeable.

Dr. Paul Norris MD, Gabriela Moreu APRN, and all the staff are really friendly, kind, and sincerely care for their patients. Their bedside manner is out of this world. You NEVER feel like they are rushed when they are taking care of you because they are truly dedicated to you when you’re there. I have had a couple procedures done there, and the Doctor and staff always answered all my questions regardless of how silly they could be or how many times I asked the same thing; always with the utmost patience. They always have a smile on their face, and have this way of putting you at ease when you’re anxious. This is a Doctor, APRN and staff that I would follow anywhere if they relocate again.

UNACCEPTABLE!!!! Stolen credit card. The young girl at the front desk stole my debit card yesterday and tried using it at several locations last night. When I checked in she took my credit card, my ID and my insurance card but after charging my card for my appointment, she only gave me back my ID and my insurance card, so she intentionally kept my credit card. I am 100% positive it stayed there because I didn't use it at all for the rest of the day, it's a card I hardly ever use. I only realized I didn't have it because my bank contacted me for suspicious and fraudulent action. She tried buying a gift card for $223.44 at CVS and then later tried using it in a restaurant in Miami Beach. I will report her to the police, this is totally unacceptable!!!!!

On Tuesday morning at another appointment with a specialist, it was the determined the baby I was carrying no longer had a heartbeat. My specialist recommended a doctor but there were no appointments available for the current week, and due to time sensitively of the matter it was highly recommended to be seen as soon as possible. That afternoon I recieved a call from Maria, an Angel really. She was helpful, understanding and most importantly calm. She took my information and advised that there was an appointment for the following morning for the procedure. I readily agreed and answered the procedural questions to prepare me for the next day. Now I live in Broward County, Davie to be exact, so this was a long drive for me. My husband and both took the day off and arrived an hour and a half early to the center. About an hour before the procedure, Maria calls me. She begins to tell me that Dr. Norris, will go ahead and refer me to another doctor because he does not feel comfortable doing… the procedure. I’m confused because an hour before the procedure is when you want to disclose to the patient during a health crisis and dealing with a time sensitive issue that you as a medical profession do not feel comfortable treating me? The explanation I recieved was that, due to my BMI, Asthma, and history of Anxiety, he did not feel comfortable doing the procedure in the office but would rather I be seen in an hospital setting. As my husband and I are driving back home 20 minutes later I receive another call from Dr. Norris Office with the information for the other doctor. I told them thank you for the information and continued on with my day. We arrived home and about 10-15 minutes from the last phone call I receive another phone call from Dr. Norris office saying that “if you want Dr.Norris will see you now just to check your airways to make sure he would be able to perform the procedure”. Shouldn’t that had been the first thing that was suggested instead of turning away a patient in the parking before even seeing them? I found the whole experience insensitive, unprofessional and rude to say the least.

This office is a joke. Most of the reviews are from workers! I had an unnecessary procedure there. Worst experience

About ten days ago, I started bleeding very heavily and passing very large blood clots. I called my ob/gyn, who not only was out of town, but also did NOT have anyone else covering for her. I was losing a lot of blood and becoming very weak by the minute. I called many doctors in the Miami Beach area, explaining the emergency, but no one except for Dr. Norris was willing to help me. I left a message with Dr. Norris' s assistant and, to my surprise, soon after I get a call from the Dr. (who did not even know me) to ask what was going on. He then advised me to go to the ER immediately because of all of the blood loss; he even directed me to go to UM Hospital because of the existence of attending gynecologists at the site. I ended up having to be hospitalized, and had to receive blood transfusions. It was the scariest experience of my life. I even fainted due to the amount of blood loss... The very next morning, Dr. Norris called me at the hospital to check up on… me. Always concerned, but never pushy, he suggested I would go see him the following business day ( he even offered to see me that very same day, but I was just too exhausted!) for a D/C and a hysteroscopy. I can honestly say that if it hadn't been for Dr. Norris, I probably wouldn't have gone to the ER, and God knows what would've happened... Dr. Norris is not only an excellent professional, but he is a great person who cares about his patients. That is so hard to find! I've been living in South Florida for almost 20 years, and he is the first doctor who has shown me so much concern. His office is also extremely well run. His staff will inform you of how much your insurance will pay, and how much you will owe for every single procedure. You don't even have to ask. Very different from most doctors I've been to, who sometimes even try to hide this type of information. In summary, I highly recommend Dr. Norris - he is the best!!

For the past 9 months I have been dealing with major pain. I have seen 3 doctors before one of my friends recommended Dr. Norris. Every doctor diagnosed something different, changed my birth control pill, and prescribed harsh pain meds. I just wanted the pain to stop and for someone to give me their honest opinion by doing more than looking at my chart. I went to see Dr. Norris and was very skeptical. He came into the office with a charming smile, extended his hand and said, "Hi, I'm Dr. Norris." He looked through my notes and started asking questions that made me feel like he was actually interested in what I was feeling at the time. He changed my meds and told me that things would get better, but not go away and should they not work, we would consider surgery. Surely, I returned to see him and although my symptoms did get better, I was still suffering. He quickly scheduled me for surgery and before I knew it, he was personally calling me on the phone to explain the risks of… my surgery and have me ask as many questions as I felt I needed to ask. He was patient and gentle and helped me understand the real consequences of my surgery. I went into surgery thereafter and although I was scared and even a bit skeptical, I was pleasantly surprised to find that he cured my pain and still managed to keep my ovaries. He is an excellent clinical doctor and an amazing surgeon, but more impressive, is that he has an adoring bedside manner. This doctor is a Godsend, I would most definitely suggest that you keep him on your list of "must-see" doctors if you ever need an OBGYN. Thanks Dr. Norris!

Dr. Norris is an excellent OB/GYN and I recommend him to friends who are looking for an OB/GYN. The only issue I have is the long wait. It is worth the wait though for his thorough exam and help.
