Dr. Paul William Maurer, MD

I was very afraid to have this surgery. He was reassuring and helped me choose the right lens for me. A month after the surgery I now have 20/20 vision and no more glasses, I can read most things without any glasses, although good lighting is helpful. Very amazed at the whole experience!! Highly recommend this surgeon.

My wife and I were visiting Key West from LA. It turns out the day I left our home I found out I had shingles and my primary doctor warned me if I had any eye pain to immediately see an opthamologist. Our first night here my eye hurt and was weeping so first thing in the morning I began looking for help. At Keys Eye Care Lisa answered the phone and after listening to me said, "We don't have any openings but come in and we will fit you in. You need to see the doctor." I did and they did. The staff was professional and Dr. Maurer was very attentive and addressed the problem. This was on a Friday and I was relieved going into the weekend. By the way of the two other ophthalmologists in Key West my insurance referred me to one receptionist curtly told me they were too busy and the other said they'd call me back but never did. Thanks Dr. Maurer and staff for your fabulous care.
