Dr. Paul David Rosenblit

I saw Dr. Rosenblit after going through a number a difficult experiences with other doctors. He found me a new medication that works much better than my old one, was very patient and explained many aspects of my treatment to me. To be specific, I wasn't sure if I even had type 1 or 2 because I am young and got the disease without being overweight. He ran comprehensive tests and determined it was type 2 but I would need a special medication since metformin alone wasn't working and the glyburide I was taking is dangerous (can cause low blood sugar). The new medicine invokamet is way better and I have also gotten better medicine for my high cholesterol thanks to him.

Pleasure of meeting Dr.rosenblit, he really takes his time with you and I can tell genuinely cares. Very satisfied

Staff is rude, Doctor is always in a hurry, Office Manager Joanna is pathetic.

I've been a Type 1 diabetic for 48 years, and am in excellent health, due to Dr. Rosenblit and his glucose monitor help. I am a lawyer who used to defend doctors in court, and trust me, you are safe in his hands. He's treated me for about 15 years, and takes whatever time is necessary to see me -- sometimes visits last over 20 minutes. Yes, you do have to wait for Dr. Rosenblit, but he is well worth it. Ask for the first appointment of the day or the last, and call in to find out what time to really come. I paused over his initial medical school, but his later training and tons of years devoted mostly to diabetes makes him the obvious choice in the area. Also, he has privileges at both Hoag and St. Josephs, which are the 2 places I'd want to be if ill. He responded to my call directly at 11 at night, when I was on my way to the hospital due to severe issues. Where else can you find a doctor like that! Other top doctors at Hoag also recommend Dr. Rosenblit, and that speaks… volumes!

Waited for at least an hour EVERY time I had an appointment. Noticed after two or three visits that he received an enormous number of drug salespeople during my wait.....that explains why he was always pushing new drugs at me during every visit. He was a big proponent of Actos, now suspected of causing bladder cancer. Quack, quack, quack.

Waited over an hour and a half, was not offered to re-schedule, basically ignored by staff. Then told the charge to get a copy of medical chart would be $40!! Changing doctors ASAP.

Dr. Rosenblitt is an exceptionally knowledgable and caring doctor. It is rare to find this combination of competency and compassionate. Anyone would be fortunate have him as their doctor.
