Dr. Simic has helped me multiple times for different hand procedures/breaks. He is very knowledgeable, respectful, and considerate. I highly recommend Dr. Simic.

I made an appointment to see Dr. Simic for elbow pain. I had to wait a long time at the appointment but ok, no big deal. The doctor gave me a cortisone shot which unfortunately did not work. Since I am in quite a bit of pain, I called back after about a week to see what next steps were. It took 3 days of calling to get the Evette, the practice coordinator, on the phone. I explained the situation and she said she would consult with the doctor and get back to me. No word back. I called a few days later and left a message, nothing. I called again a few days later and again left a message, nothing. Did this one more time and have now given up.

THE PEOPLE STAFFING THE OFFICE ARE AWFUL. I'VE BEEN ON HOLD FOR 3 HOURS, CALL BACK, BACK ON HOLD. STILL UNABLE TO GET THROUGH. SAVE YOURSELF THE AGGRAVATION AND GO TO UCLA WESTWOOD. IT WILL TAKE LESS TIME TO DRIVE THERE THAN TO TALK TO SOMEONE IN AT SCOCI IN THOUSAND OAKS. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I DELT WITH SUCH INCOMPETENCE.

Dr. Simic and his entire staff are amazing! Our son, who has autism, broke his arm and wrist last week. We have been very fortunate that our son has never been involved in any kind of accident or broken any bones previously and actually has never had anything more serious than a cold or mild field flu. He is very afraid of needles and was very concerned about the IV. From the moment we arrived, the doctors and nurses could not have been kinder or more patient. They were so incredibly gentle and reassuring. They explained everything that they were going to do in a manner that our son could understand and put him completely at ease. They didn’t talk ‘down’ to him, which unfortunately often happens. They just took their time and made sure he was comfortable, confident and fully prepared. The surgery went beautifully, and so far, he is experienced very little post-op pain. Just 48 hours after the surgery, when asking him about his pain level, he responded it was ½. I asked him if that… meant a “5” because we had been asking about his pain on a scale of 1 to 10, and he said “No, my pain is half of 1, which is really almost no pain at all.” Dr. Simic operated on our other son’s hand (it was the 3rd time he had broken the same hand in the bone in his thumb had gone from vertical to horizontal) about 10 years ago. That surgery went very well, and he’s had really no trouble with it. That son is now an emergency room nurse, and so he uses his hands a lot, so if the surgery had been anything but top-notch, he certainly would be experiencing difficulty in performing his job. I knew Dr. Simic and his associates were competent and affable. After seeing the way that they interacted with our son last week, I now know that they are extraordinarily kind, caring, and wonderful people. If I could give him 10 stars I would.

This Doctor is very good, he is not in a hurry, explains things carefully and he isn’t afraid of making suggestions. He is not condescending. He is very good in doing joint injections. I would use him definetly for surgery if I need to.

My only problem was having to wait an extended period for my appointment. I was put into an exam room and left there for over 20 min

Dr. Paul Simic is one of the best doctors I have ever met. He is very patient, and he is and expert in the medical field he specializes in. He is also my dad.

Every step of the way in this process, Dr Simic and his staff have been very helpful. They explained the process and recovery, as well as reached out to follow up with how I was doing.
