Dr. Peter Allen Kosoff, MD

Seems you either love or hate this guy. I was on the fence a month ago as I read his reviews as I sat waiting for an HOUR after my scheduled appointment. Today, however, after a very unprofessional and demeaning phone call I know exactly who this guy is. My daughter had a 102 fever, so I call THE OFFICE (I don’t even know his personal number) and he answered. I asked if I should go to the hospital or suppress the fever and with a narcissist tone told me I should have thought about that before I woke him up!!! I practically had to contain myself from screaming to tell him that it’s his job because he gets paid to be a professional and care for kids... which he obviously does not! All he cares about is himself. Selfish, arrogant, unprofessional and judgy is all this “doctor” has been since day 1 to us.

Recently switched pediatricians for my newborn and toddler and am very happy with the customer service the friendly staff provides especially Dr. Kosoff and his medical assistant. The wait is a bit long but very worth the time he takes with the kids and efficiency of the practice.

Dr. Peter Kosoff has been the absolute worst representation of how pediatrics should be practiced. He does a great job of putting on a show in front of residents/interns and making parents feel bad on how to care for their children, extremely rude. On two separate visits he has failed to sanitize his hands or use appropriate protective measures while interacting with my child. Along with horrible care, arriving on time and even early for a SCHEDULED appointments equates to being seen by the DR. over an hour later. Parents be extremely concerned and question the methods of a doctor that carries medical tools that are used on children in a fanny pack! One star is very generous.

I have been taking my son to Dr. Kosoff since he was born. He is a very caring doctor and always on call in the middle of the night when your baby is sick. My son is 13 now and he thinks the world of Dr. Kosoff. Superb service with a doctor who really cares about his patients. He will always be my son's doctor.

Dr. Kosoff is the kindest pediatrician. I've seen him since I was very young and i will miss going to his office. His humor and positivity always made me and my sibling feel comfortable especially since they were nervous about getting shots.

I wish there were more Dr. Kosoff's and Dr. Sathyanarayan's! How lovely is it that they go above and beyond just medical care but pep talks with my teenage children that have questions and concerns and personally call XRay facility to ask them to wait (5 mins till closing) so that my child may have an xray done before the weekend begins and then on top of that call me as soon as he gets the xray results (which ended up being 6:30-7 pm the same afternoon (they closed the office at 5 pm). Very respectful and my 15, 16, and 18 love it everytime they get to go in for an annual visit!

I would not go anywhere else. They listen to you and to your questions. They care about the health of your child.

The doc is an overall great man and is a wonderful doc to my son! He takes time to make sure my son gets well and back on his feet as soon as he can.

Dr Kosoff is an AWESOME doctor. The problem is that the wait time is terrible! I make an appt at a certain time but dont go back to the rooms till 30-45 mins later then have to wait another 30-45 to be seen. He takes the time with each patient & truly cares about my children however being at a drs office for over 2hrs is too much. I continue to go b/c Dr Kosoff is a great doctor & thats hard to find. Ive already addressed this & saw little improvement but they definetly still need to work on that.
