Dr. Peter Scott Margolis, MD

Dr. Margolis has been my doctor for many years. He just keeps getting better and better. He is kind, compassionate and genuinely has patient concern as his priority. He lets me know what he's doing, how he's doing the procedure and has excellent follow-up. His staff is also wonderful.

I have serious doubts as to the “culture” of this office. Despite a referral from my primary care doctor and three phone messages left over the course of three days to schedule an appointment, no one bothered to return my calls. Is this a reflection of indifference on the part of Dr. Margolis that has trickled down to his office staff? My bet is yes, and I no longer am interested in his services.

Dr Margolis and the staff at the Endoscopy Center are fantastic. I have been seeing him for many years and he has a great bedside manner. He explains everything and came back to see me after I woke up after procedure to explain the examination results.

To answer the question regarding care at Dr. Margolis' office all I can say is I am pretty sure I have been seeing him for close to twenty years. That should say it all!

Dr Margolis told me exactly what he would be doing regarding the endoscopy. What medications he would be administering. After the procedure heave to the recovery area to tell me what was found and what procedure he took due to his findings. This made me feel more at ease and gave me confidence before the procedure began knowing what would be done to me. His follow up in the recovery area was given in terms that a no medical person could understand and when I could expect answers to the procedure done today, and if I hadn't had a response within a certain time to give his office a call making me feel that he was concerned about each of his patients.

Dr. Margolis is very thorough. He has a wonderful bedside manner and listens to your needs. His staff is wonderful. I have had my tests done at Bayside Surgical and the treatment and ease of my appointments have been a wonderful experience.

Dr. Margolis is a fantastic, extremely professional doctor who takes the time to make certain his patient understands exactly what is going on with their problem and the treatment he recommends. His assistants are very courteous and promptly returns calls to make certain your needs are met. I would highly recommend Dr. Margolis to anyone who seeks treatment from a gastroenterologist.

The worst!

It was a very pleasant experience, this was a difficult appointment for me, but everyone from the front desk staff to the doctor himself put me at ease.
