Dr. Peter Armin Weisskopf, MD

I have gone to Dr. Weiskoph for a few years and have never found him very approachable and even condescending. I had been told that unless you have something surgical (mine is Meniere's disease) he is a waste of time but since there are limited choices for my condition I stayed with him. This time I had some new concerns to discuss but found he was worse than usual. He actually made me feel stupid for my concerns/questions. My visit was a total waste of my time and money. There is no way I would return to him ever again even if I was having major issues.

Dr. Weisskopf is a special kind of doctor, he's treated me since 2017 (three years now) doing everything from Cochlear implant to middle ear reconstructive surgeries, and even during office visits is adventurous enough to tackle whatever I'm in need of. He has been an important part of steering my Wegeners GPA into remission, and restoring parts of my life that I didn't think were possible to restore. I put my full faith in this doctor and I'm thrilled that he's on my team.

Treated me and my family like animals. This man has no respect or regard for medical treatment. Worst experience ever.

Dr Weisskopf reconstructed my daughter's eardrum after years of infections and 5 sets of ear tubes. He took a lot of time to explain the problem and procedure he believed would fix it. Not only did he address me, he addressed my 7 year old, too. He wanted to make sure that we both knew what was involved and what the best possible outcome could be. My daughter loves him, and I'm very thankful for his skill as a surgeon and kindness as a human.

My ear nose and throat doctor recommended dr w. I thought he was somewhere else, but he is at the Mayo Clinic now. He did a great job fixing my ear. He is very direct and tells you what the risks are and also what the options are. My only real option was surgery and it turned out great. Mayo Clinic was a really nice place to go too, everyone was very helpful

I have been seeing Dr. Weisskopf for quite some time now. I initially was referred to him by another ENT doctor. I found him to be not only very highly competent, but a compassionate doctor as well. He has operated on my ear more than once, and so far, all has been very good. My hearing is so much better than it was. Still have follow up procedures to do. I have the highest respect for Dr. Weisskopf and he is, without a doubt, the BEST in my opinion. I trust him completely, and definitely recommend him to anyone who has any serious ear problems.

Excellent Doctor!

I was really nervous to meet Dr. Weiskopf because of all the negative reviews on line that I read. I was referred to him by Dr. Lee for removing a tumor in my ear canal. Only two doctors in the state are able to perform this surgery. I was so nervous I called multiple other doctors to see if they did the surgery and each one referred me to Weiskopf. Reluctantly I went....totally expecting a jerk who only wanted money. However, he was pretty nice and is able to get my surgery done. I'm not a big fan of his office staff but they are the ones who are going to be working on my ear. This man is a SURGEON. He's not someone I would see for a minor ear infection. A lot of people wrote really mean things and it did nothing for my nervous. I'm very happy with how my appointment went and although I don't want surgery am confident Dr. Weiskopf will do an excellent job. He was nice not super talkative on a personal level but nice like I'm a surgeon who knows what I'm doing and will get it done.

I have no complaint with the doctor--if I could only reach him. Unfortunately, the phone system is set up so that you could die before you ever did. You leave a number and name etc. You wait several days. They call back when you are not home. They leave the same number you called before (no direct line) so then you have to start over again. IF I could get a FAX number, I could write them a letter. The FAX number is known only to the vestal virgins (who are his office staff) whose job it is to bar all access.

Has no people skills. Complete misdiagnosis for a very obvious issue that was easily resolved from another Dr. There are better educated specialists. If you have an ear infection - he could write a prescription. If you have complex issues, go elsewhere as he's not interested, if it requires evaluations. Just wants $$$
