I was in for the removal of one kidney stone. It took me a great deal of effort and resources to have this procedure done. I began treatment under one medical facility but due to insurance changes had to go through another medical system. When I awoke from the procedure I was informed by my daughter who met me in post op recovery that only 10% of the kidney stone which measured slightly above 1 centimeter had been removed. The reasoning was because the stone could not be reached based on where the incision was made. I’ve had CT Scan and an X Ray yet I was cut in a place where the stone could not be removed. And to add insult to injury I am expected to return to have this procedure done again. I’m fighting for my life. I’m missing work and sedated with the meds given and I’m expected to return to have another procedure done and pay for it. I am a human being not a cash cow.
