Dr. Rafah Aflak, MD

After having used another dr.'s office and having to wait at least 2 hours to be seen at EVERY visit, we switched to Dr. Aflak. At our initial visit, our wait was very a little long. However, she came in to the room, apologized and explained that there had been an emergency then she talked to us and really listed to my concerns. In the past, my concerns were just brushed off or ignored. She did a thorough work up and lab work. My son really liked her. Because of this, I decided to give her another chance. It is easy to get an appointment and we have never had to wait too long to be seen (since the first appointment). I have also only had pleasant experiences with the office staff. They are always friendly and helpful.

The wait is the worst thing about it all. Everytime I go I wait for at least 30 min in the waiting room and then its another 20 or 30 minutes once you get back to the room.Once the doctor comes in she spends time with you which may be why she is soooo far behind and you have to wait so long, but I am not sure if she knows what she is talking about. I don't feel like my children recieve quality care or the care they need especially for a wait that long. One good thing is that it is a convienent location
