The worst human being I have ever met !!!!!! Do not see this person!!!

He cut me off when I tried to describe what was going on and my past history. Decided he would run a colonoscopy and endoscopy on me as an 19 year old. He also charged me double my copay and his office is impossible to get ahold of. I switched to a different doctor thank goodness. Avoid him at all costs.

Dr Gupta is a money hungry dr. He overcharged us $671 and will not refund us. It has been over two months. Do not go to this greedy crook of a dr

I went to Dr. Gupta because I was having recurring upper stomach issues. He stated that I needed to have a colonoscopy & endoscopy done. I have to get Dr. Gupta credit, he did find flat polyp & referred me to MUSC. I was told these types of polyps are hard to catch. What I didn't like about Dr. Gupta is I had to ASK him to look @ my records from my prev dr . He barely looked at them. I felt he just didn't want to waste time with me because his waiting room was packed. The in and out dr. I think his main thing is to do a colonoscopy and endoscopy of people - it's his money maker.

Run as fast as you can. Find anybody else...

He needs to slow down a little and stop treating patients like they are numbers...

I was referred to this doctor by my PCP. I was told that while this individual was lacking in bed side manor Dr. Gupta was a fine GI. Little did I know that this was not the case. Dr. Gupta doesn't take the time to listen to the concerns of his patient. He's rude and short tempered, three days after having a colonoscopy I was in the hospital with abdominal pain and rectal bleeding. The response I got from Dr. Gupta's office was, "oh" when I was finally able to discuss this issue with the Dr. I was told to "eat more fruit that cause of bleeding". Regarding the office staff they are rude and uncaring as to any issues that do not directly impact them. Take my advice, you get what you pay for, so if you are looking for a lost cost GI Dr. Gupta is the way to go. If you are looking for a Doctor that actually understands the needs of a patient choose a GI from Grand Strand Hospital. This guy is a total and complete joke, and his staff defies description.

My experience was very nice. Dr. Gupta performed a colonoscopy on me and I was very happy with the whole procedure. The procedure was done in a surgery centre, and I had zero discomfort!. The medicine for the prep was kind of sour. But after the procedure, I was back to work the next day completely normal!

Dr. Gupta is the most approachable physician i have ever met. He was was so nice and he was able to diagnose my irritable bowel syndrome. I really have great admiration for Dr. Gupta!
